I ordered this boom box because I needed a compact, portable and reliable stereo on which to play classical music CD's. I can also listen to the morning news, FM music or broadcasts of baseball and football games. This Sony product fits nicely on a dresser top or anyplace where space is an issue. I like that it can be taken anywhere, including outdoors on the patio. Having used this unit for about a month I am very pleased with its performance and functionality.

I've only used it a couple of times but like it thus far. The day I got it I tested it out. Radio reception wasn't great in the area I planned to use it (but then radio reception wasn't great on the previous boombox this one is replacing - so it's probably because of the location. I like being able to play music from a thumb drive. A couple of years ago I put all my music from all sources on a thumb drive, so having that feature is nice. CD player works well. I have not yet tried to copy from CD to thumb drive. I did try the bluetooth feature and it paired easily and is fine. I did notice the sound was less loud pairing from the phone to the boombox than it is playing a CD or thumb drive. Might have been the song, or might be a feature of the boombox.

We bought this radio because we have one that’s similar that’s 10 years older. Unlike the older one it’s easier to use as far as tuning in a radio station. We like how it’s got a slicker design and we would recommend this to anyone.

The sound on this boombox is really great and the portability allows me to use it in many different locations.

The radio had very good sound with radio and CD's. Has many options to connect with. Good size.

This is a great system, but it would be better if they added a small lite to give a better read of the numbers in the CD to tell what track is playing.

This radio is small enough to be unobtrusive and still delivers a big sound. It has a CD player, which is nice when I'm bored by the radio, and both are easy to use. The preset stations were quick to set up and basically, it's just an easy, intuitive radio with decent sound quality and good reception. I use it in the kitchen but it would fit it anywhere you want a radio.

Wanted a box that could play both AM&FM radio as well as stream from my iPhone. Sometimes I want to listen to a ball game over local radio. Sometimes I like to stream Pandora or from iTunes. This unit fit the bill. Very good sound out of a fairly small package. AC/DC. I've had good experience with the durability of Sony products over the decades,

I am very satisfied with this boombox. It is compact and has the features I was seeking. Plus, great sound! I especially like the mega bass feature.

I purchased this small radio to be able to play music I have on a jump drive. I take it in the back yard when I'm in the pool, in the bathroom while getting ready, and in my office while working at my desk. I love being able to hear music I have put on the drive without having to use my phone to do so. We even took it to watch the fireworks because it also runs on batteries. Great radio - it will get used often.

I purchased this unit for an older person who wanted the CD/radio combo. Simple design, easy to use, and very decent sound quality. She loves it.

so far, so good. Very clear sound. Last one I bought (not a Sony) died after a few weeks. I like playing CDs because I can no longer afford music streaming services and hate the commercial interruptions.

I needed a Bluetooth capable radio with AM reception . This works well in my backyard, without any issues. Volume is slightly low and BT sometimes cuts out (Satellites ?). Manually presetting channels is fairly easy.

Good sound, easy to connect to blue tooth. A remote would be great.

This is a radio with the combination of a display player. Do evolution of a transistor radio from the 60s to this boombox in the 21st-century is amazing..

Bought this for my parents to listen to cd's and the radio. Small profile and quality sound. Just what I was looking for.

Sound is good, has favorite buttons for radio stations that are very convenient! Great value for the money.

We like this little CD and radio very much. Sounds great and the blue tooth is a great feature.
