Plays CDs and radio I have it above my desk. I liked it so much I bought another one for my girlfriend.

I love it.the only thing I don’t like is the cord comes out too easily

This radio has great sound and we can now hear our OPB shows while not in the car. I only wish it had a remote, but oh well. Good price

OK, I can play cds and listen to radio, but, once I had set the favorite radio stations, they change from AM to FM. Example: I set #1, it works fine, but if I change to #2, it goes to FM (and vice versa). Another issue - when I push the button to turn off the Boombox, a “stand by” (or something simmilar) sign remains constant. Really, I should have given this item only one star, just because it lets you listen to the radio and cds.

It's ok for using in a dome. I used to have a super woofer surround sound system. This one sounds like a regular radio. I can't hear all the instruments sound. It may be good for apartment living as you don't want your neighbors complain noise. I am to check out an upgrade at Best buy.

Very nice little boombox bought it for my mom for Christmas

This has everything , Bluetooth for internet from phone, records mp3s, CD player and radio. And it can run on batteries. Excellent!

Bluetooth don't have reception from another device and poor volume.

Practic good sound not much room take it it’s sweet

My Sony Boom Box is a good brand of radio. Sony brand is lasting . Most of my electronics are made from Sony. Very reliable and lasting.

The first thing I did with this boom box was to verify that all the features worked. I made a new thumb drive on my home computer transferring cd's to the thumb drive. You can do this on the boom box, but I never tried this because the computer can do it fast. The thumb drive holds a lifetime of music. The thumb drive worked great. The blue tooth worked great. The digital tuning radio worked. great. The cd player works good. I am very pleased with the sound. Its a personal boom box, small. You might not entertain a party with it. Very satisfied.

I bought the boombox because I wanted something that I could use outdoors. It was important that it could run on battery power if needed. I don't know how long the batteries last, and they aren't re-chargeable like a lot of bluetooth speakers, but this boombox has a lot of nice things that I wanted to be able to use that traditional bluetooth speakers don't have. I tested the volume outside with/without batteries, and it seems to be good for about 50-100ft away. It was important for me to have the capability to play CDs directly because I have a number of them and they're still very prevalent. The bluetooth functionality works great, I used it to play sounds from my phone without the App made for this. I haven't tried out the App yet. I didn't realize how much I would like the ability to play music off of a USB storage device. It recognizes groups of songs as being in different folders and plays them that way. The boombox also lets you plug in an audio cable and use that as an input source. I haven't tried that yet, but I think it's an awesome feature. In general, this boombox is very versatile. The only complaint that I can think of is the lack of a re-chargeable battery, but I keep it plugged in most of the time so far so that's not a deal breaker for me.

Last year I wanted a CD player so I got my hands on this one, and I've been happy with every part of it. I don't get some of the complaints about volume since I use it in a bedroom but I also have used it in my backyard and got a noise complaint from my family shortly after so yeah, the volumes pretty good to me. Great volume for a little boombox which is well designed. I've used the CD, Bluetooth, and Radio functions and all of them work pretty good for me and never had issues with pairing. I'm pretty happy with the sound quality and it fits perfectly on the dresser.

I am very happy with this boombox.The sound quality is good and volume is good. I am still kind of old school and have a lot of cds. I didn't want to fill up my phone with music. I do use Pandora and Spotify but I like to listen to the entire cd of favorite artists. I also like having a radio in case I want to listen to a talk radio station or a favorite music station.By the way, the reception for the radio is very good. I have not tried any of the bells and whistles yet but that will come in time. It is not a big boombox so it fits nicely on our kitchen counter. I keep all my cds in a cabinet below. Very convenient. I love it!

Pros ... Bluetooth capable. Copy CD'Ss to USB with 1 button. Audio in. 3 favorite radio Presets on top of unit in addition to standard presets on the front. Sleep function button 15 minutes to 90 minutes 15 - 30 - 45 - 60 - 75 - 90 Sound is decent for the compact size, Audiophiles will be left wanting more. Build quality seems to be good. Cons ... No preset EQ's for different Genres of music. Bass Boost function does not make much of a difference. Setting the presets take a few more steps than any other radio I have ever purchased and are not intuitive. Does not include a remote control. By far the biggest con / issue is the unit does not have any back lit buttons, the LCD screen is also not back lit. If using in low light conditions indoors or outdoors at night without a light source you cannot see any of the function buttons or see what station you have tuned in to. Would recommend this unit if the Cons I have listed do not matter to you.

Radio is very clear and the sound is good. Which is the reason why I bought it. Easy to use. Cd's sound great as well. The size is nice too. Not the huge boom boxes I had as a kid.

Bought this for my wife and she really likes it. Love the USB port especially. She downloads songs from her computer and places them on her flash drive, then inserts the flash drive into the USB on the Boom Box...."fun stuff". This unit has amazingly good sound quality for such a small boombox. It's so lightweight, we can take it anywhere, and it picks up stations that we hadn't picked up before on the radio section. Also appreciate it being bluetooth compatible and yes, it's nice just to find an old CD and play it AND we like the record feature.
