If you are looking for big sound this is not for you - but we needed a nice small unit to play audio lessons for our adult education class and this is perfect! Small and easy to use.

The sound is nice, good bass, the player is small and not bulky.

this radio had all the features i needed. the sound quality is great as well. reasonable price for the many features, mainly the usb input and recording, which is what i was looking for included with a nice not too big, not too small, but nice sounding radio

This was an impulse purchase that I do not regret. It comes in handy when on picnics and when doing yard work. Glad I purchased it.

It is difficult these days to find a radio at all, let alone a good one. I wanted this radio because the small radios I used in the past were all unsatisfactory for one reason or another. I like everything about this radio: the sound quality is excellent; the present a few in number and easy to manage and change; the headphone aspect is very good. n addition, the radio also has a CD player. I am completely satisfied.

Has really good sound. I use it for outside by the pool, or just chilling in the yard.

I do my workouts to music indoors when the weather isn't suited for my favorite activity, which is running. Indoor workouts, for me, require some additional motivation, and I get that from music. I recently needed to buy a portable FM/DVD music player and found a Sony that fit the bill. I really like it, and with the USB as an additional connection to digital music, and good sound, it's just what I was looking for.

Easy to use, doesn't take up much space, lots of different uses - radio, cd player, etc.

Great CD player that is compact and delivers good sound. The Bluetooth and and USB record and play are very useful. Although CD's are on their out, there are times that I just don't feel like logging into a music service or turning on my phone and for those times this works well. I had the expensive Bose and similar products, but they lasted about 2-3 years before they started eating CD's so even if this conks out in a year I'll be ahead.

If you have a little more spending money, I would recommend spending about $50 or more on a different boombox, that said, this one will do the trick if you only need a little bit of audio in a room or for someone who will listen to albums on a low/medium volume.

Fit in little space, has great sound light enough to take anywhere

Overall, boombox is as advertised. It's made very well and easy to use. Sound is crisp and loud, which is great for my parents. Only 4 stars, because it's quite pricey for an antiquated type of technology that can be offered for a lower price.

This boombox has a great sound! It is small enough to fit on almost all surfaces throughout my home. I had it up ii my bedroom for a while, listening to relaxing music while I read in bed. Lately I keep it on one of the kitchen counters, the sound carries through to the living room and the dinning room as well. Its overall surface is easy to keep clean. It's speaker has a very fine sound.

I bought this for my daughter so she can play her flute along with accompaniment. I was expecting a tinny sound based on the size of the speakers but I was pleasantly surprised to hear a rich reproduction of the music on the CD being played. Well done Sony. PS: I like the bluetooth connection which allows me to play my music from my iPhone when we go to her grandmother's house.

I bought this boombox because of the bloothtooth, radio and DVD player. Sounds good.

This radio sounds great. A little static at time but otherwise sounds good for the money.
