I substracted 1 star because it does not have an external speaker connection. However, overall, it is a very smart machine. It was able to convert all my CDs (100 of them) at high speed into MP3 format and save my songs on a flashdrive. I was going to buy a software to convert my music to MP3 that would cost me $79. It can play music from a flash drive or connect with my iPhone to play my iTunes or allows me to use as an external speaker for a phone coversation. It can randomly play my music as well as playing them in the order that I chose. By the way, it is very light weight and compact to carry around.Overall, it is good value for the money!

Bought this boom box because of the Bluetooth and the low price. Was pleasantly surprised by the great sound and ease of use.

Great sound with extra base. Many useful features and totally portable. However these two quite important features are missing: remote control, and backlit or color display. Cannot see the display in low light condition. Sony please include the 2 missing features above in your next model.

I was looking for a good Quality radio for my wife's birthday. This was perfect she loved it's portability yet strong sound for around the house. It's slammed with features like Bluetooth, NFC, USB to CD dubbing and more. Good buy!

I get clear reception of my favorite radio stations, which are easily selected with the dedicated station buttons. The CD control buttons are easy to use, and the sound quality is great for the size. I have not yet used any of the other features such as the USB port for playing and recording music.

This device does exactly what it supposed to do. It has first rate reception and good sound. It is a good portable radio with many excellent features. It you need a portable first rate radio sound device this is a good choice. The blue tooth feature is very useful. If your old school the CD player is very helpful. Flash drive input is also a plus. Very good for the price.

We love this boombox, The sound and ease of operation are better than any radio we have had. Looks good too. Thanks to the young fellow who helped us select a radio and arranged for it to be delivered to us.

We needed to replace an older radio/alarm clock docking station. The Sony CDBoom Box we got to replace it was exactly what we needed! Plays CD’s, is Bluetooth capable, AM/FM radio, AUX and USB inputs, and the sound is awesome! It can also become portable when loaded up with batteries! We love it!

Not bad for a smaller box. I have a collection of CDs that I still want to listen to. The radio tunes in to many stations. It’s been especially nice to have a battery operated device during frequent power outages this summer.

Very easy to use and program don't have a wifi but like being able to lock in 3 stations. Also playing CD's are nice, awesome sound. Great buy

This is perfect for a small room. It has great sound and doesn't take up a lot of space. Easy to take with you on an overnight or day trip.

I bought this boombox primarily to play the many CD's that I have and for the small size. I like the size and portability of this Sony boombox. I can take it out on the deck with its battery power. The sound is a good quality, and the price was reasonable. I also like its ability to connect to bluetooth and USB devices.

I looked for a while, before I settled on this one. It is a nice compact size and I wanted a boombox that would play a flash drive. The display only goes to 3 digits, so if you play a flash drive that has more than a 1000 songs, they will not appear on the digital readout. But overall, I am satisfied with this unit, and was less than $ 100.00

I Haven't bought a boombox in 25 years before buying this little beauty. With the multitude of Bluetooth speakers out there, its easy for boomboxes to get over looked, but I'm glad I found this little thing. I bought it to take to the Drive-In of all places for our summer movies nights with the entire family. We'd pull up and create a little space with chairs & tables and have ourselves a nice little asphalt picnic while catching a double feature. This box not only provided enough sound (even for Drive In quality FM sound), but it was clear crisp and even had a good amount of bass. And of course it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and even plays those old-timey CDs. A great buy.

Boombox with Bluetooth OMG!!! Sounds good, look good and its portable (with batteries/out-let) on the patio or in the garage its perfect.

Nice and compact. Easy to navigate through it's many functions. The sound is ok , but ballgames and talk shows its great. I would reccomend it ... for the price its a good product....it's Sony...

It is a good size to carry it with you to picnic or beach. Sound is good and it is easy to operate. Will buy it again.

Easy to use unit with great sound. It's a good size, too, that fits on a smaller end table. Pleased with purchase; worth the extra money! Had returned a less expensive unit made by another brand. That one didn't even last 3 months, and had bad sound.
