Very happy with my purchase! This replaces a 20 year old model without the new features. The difference is big. The sound is clear on the cd's and it has many adjustments that work well for the other media as well.

I bought this unit for my garage to use while I'm working on cars. I'm very pleased with it's operation. The Bluetooth is what makes this a great unit for me. It paired easily with my phone and it's great to be able to use my phone for audio. I specifically wanted a digital readout for the radio and it has that. I didn't know it had three presets for the radio but that is a nice feature. It does everything i have wanted it to do easily and well. I would like more fullness, read bass, but thats a minor drawback for me and to be expected in a reasonably price product in this category.

I was searching for a new boombox for my parents since their old one quit working. They know I am much more tech knowledgeable than them so I would get them something of decent quality. I came across this item online and was slightly deterred by the price but saw lesser prices items didn't have as good of quality reviews. The more I read about this the more great options I saw it provided that I felt would be of great benefit to my parents. Getting to the point, this boombox has 2-3 wonderful features. 1. A USB port for inserting a flashdrive with countless hours of music on so they don't have to keep changing discs all the time. 2. A recording option that allows them to rip cd's to the flashdrive. They have been adding their favorite cd's to the stick so they don't have to constantly change out cd's. This has been very valuable to them. 3. This device has 'bluetooth' so it also allows you to sync up a compatible device to stream music through the air. We haven't used that feature yet because not being tech heavy they really don't have any Bluetooth devices to use but I feel its a nice option to have added for future use. My mother is really bad with anything tech but it has been pretty simple to get her to use the device. Recording is pretty user friendly to do, only have to push 3 buttons to rip a cd. The ONLY thing I would improve upon is the EQ. There is no eq for this boombox. You have a button for 'added bass' which is very little at that. I am huge into sound and was disappointed that I couldn't alter the eq sound in any manner, not even eq presets. I feel you must have that on any audio device, even lil mp3 players offer that. EQ options and I would have given this 5 stars. But aside from that issue this boombox has been fantastic, my parents love it, my dad tells me everyday how appreciative he is that I got them this item. Price? In their case it was money well spent.

Very nice little device. Modern features include Bluetooth. Small footprint, stylish black chasis. Good volume and bass.

I've been using this boombox in my bedroom. It has a lot of quality sound at higher volumes. I have been leaving it on during the night. I love how low the volume can be - the clarity remains near perfect.

If you're expecting a boombox with loud sound, this is not it. This is a reasonably, not so loud small music player. The sound quality is good and the USB option for playing MP3's is cool. But for the price I didn't feel like I got my monies worth.

Toolbox has great sound. My wife wanted something portable that can play CDs, radio and have a battery backup for power outages. This product fits the bill along with being able to stream blue tooth audio from connected devices. Sound quality is quite good, even the bass.

Does what an oldster like me needs it to. Plays CDs and radio. I have also been able to transfer music to thumb drive for a new car

Nice Boombox. compact easy to move around. Has all the features I was looking for plus great sound. Not extremely loud though could use a little more power. Love the USB port WiFi capabilities. Easy to use not overly complicated.

This unit almost has everything on it....Blu-tooth, NFC, USB, Aux 3.5 Input, recording to USB drive, CD player, Tuner. The only thing it does NOT have that I wished it did is a Remote Control. Aside from the remote the unit has very nice sound quality and is small enough to take with you to picnics, the beach or the back yard to enjoy your music. We are very happy with this product.

I use it in my work office mostly as a radio for background music. The Bluetooth feature is really nice to have broader music choices. On vacation, this unit worked very well as laptop speakers and as portable boom box. The sound quality is good. Not much bass, so depends on preference.

This has everything my preteen might need, a CD player, a radio, blue tooth. He is in his element.

Being a Luddite, was looking for a dependable CD player/ radio that was uncomplicated to operate. This Sony so far fits the bill. Controls are plainly labeled and easy to use. Sound quality is fine for use in a kitchen. Higher tech capabilities may be useful in the future (when my kids show me how to use them) but this unit fills the bill for what I wanted and I trust Sony builds a quality product

This is my 3rd purchase of this cd player. The reason? I needed one for different areas of my home. I bought my first one, and the sound blew me away. Realized I needed one for out on our covered patio. It plays loud enough to enjoy doing my yard work or just sitting and enjoying my music. My grandmother lives with us, and she needed a radio that had good reception and loud enough for her to hear it, so I bought the 3rd one. So there you have it. An excellent cd radio player I had to purchase not once, but three times because it's that awesome!

This is a quality product with good sound enhanced by the bass feature. CD player works well and radio tuning and reception is great. compact unit with ET looks!

I bought this player for my 11 year old granddaughter for Christmas to replace one she had that had quit playing. She bsolutely loves it! She can bluetooth her phone with the player and play music from apps on her phone. She can play music from a jump drive. The sound is excellent.

We bought this as a gift for my 93 year old sister-in-law. She enjoys listening to her cds and is happy to be able to listen to the radio too.

Nice radio. Looks good. small, fits on a desk well. Has blue tooth and CD player option and usb, audio in, headphones jack. Audio in is convenient if bluetooth doesn't work for some reason. Haven't had a problem with bluetooth. The first time I bought this radio, there was a problem with the volume button. It wouldn't go past 11, and volume was very low. I returned it and got another one that works fine. Nice practical boombox that mixes modern and older features. Good for office, kitchen, bedroom, even living room.

A great little boombox with big sound. Bluetooth, AM/FM/ USB, and aux line in for IPad.. Great sound from the speakers and the MegaBass option really enhances that sound. VERY glad I made this choice for the back yard/ deck music. I would highly recommend.

This boom box is great, it is compact with great sound and is packed full of cool features.
