Works great on my 2003 Harley Davidson Road Glide and sounds good

This is a perfect receiver with a detachable faceplate that I had installed in my truck. It has MEGABass on it and it really puts out the sound. I use my IPod on it all the time with the usb port and couldn't be happier with it. Had a Pioneer previous to this one which was also good but the Sony has a smaller sleeker look to it. I love it! The faceplate also changes colors.

Good value for an older car. Added Bluetooth a bonus!

I really love my radio and i am not having any problems

I bought this radio to replace an aging Kenwood that was in my 92 full-sized blazer when I bought it. Install is super easy, a monkey with a pair of wire strippers and butt connectors could put this in. If you are absolutely not tool and wiring savvy at all though I recommend moving slow and googling everything you don't know, things always go horribly wrong if you put it all back together and a speaker doesn't work or the antennae is unplugged, I don't know why but the universe just decides to make you suffer for your mistake. Sound quality is excellent and user friendliness is a 10/10, just read the manual it took me 2 minutes and I know what every abstract phrase or button means. Colors are cool, from girly to manly, though mine is just green to match the rest of my dashboard lighting. Bluetooth is fantastic and easy, USB and aux ports are sturdy and easy to see at night. I recommend this radio to either bring your old truck into the 21st century or give your basic, boring, crank window Chevy cobalt some modern features you cheated out on to begin with.

not the best radio! but for all the features and ways of outputting music with radio, bluetooth, pandora.looks really clean when installed by Geek Squad. its really good for the price. and all the neon colors is really cool at night. wroth it!! was not expecting this from sony!! go get it!

I am a tech novice. My husband was able to install this receiver in my 1995 Mustang. It sounds great, reception is good, CD player works well. And the bluetooth? I love this feature! Hands free calling! I am sure there are many more things this receiver can do, e.g., Pandora app, etc. But again, I am a tech novice and need to read up on getting full use of this item.

I purchased this Sony receiver to upgrade the audio in a 2002 Honda Civic that I had recently purchased. The satellite radio and bluetooth features were just what my car needed. The receiver is easy to operate and looks good. An added feature of this receiver is the color customization of the buttons and text. A great product!

Bought for my daughter's older car. Easy to use. Love the modern day features like talking on the phone hands free through the included mike, using the Bluetooth for wireless connecting or the option of hooking up with the USB port. She also has a collection of CD's she can listen to for a change. Ample amount of presets for the radio, probably more than stations she'd like to listen to. Since her car is a convertible, and she parks her car in a back lot while at work, the removable face-plate is a great option for peace of mind. Disappointed it did not include a carry case for the face-plate but was able to purchase separately. I've purchased Sony before and they have never disappointed me. Had it installed at Best Buy, they were great, well worth it.

Easy to use, great sound, quick installation, great price

This stereo has a lot of options and features that work really well. It sounds really good. Switching from an older Blaupunkt stereo this Sony stereo made everything sound way better. The reasons for subtracting one star is: A. The phone bluetooth feature works well except for sometimes when someone on the other end talks to loud then a weird sharp scratchy pop happens once in a while. If I turn down the volume a little then it seems to go away. B. The app Songpal that works with this stereo works well but you have to control the stereo from your phone entirely almost. Sometimes when the phones auto connects then you cannot change the volume from the stereo or else it just flips through the different functions. But if you choose a function from the app, say TUNER, then it lets you control the volume. Other than these minor inconveniences I would say that the stereo as a whole works very well especially for around this price range. I would get this exact same model if I had another car that needed a new stereo.

I intended to get a simple radio and cd player but walked out paying LESS than I expected with one that plays that plus Pandora, media off of my BT-connected phone, satellite radio, etc. It takes voice commands, works with droid NFC, makes and takes phone calls with ease, etc, etc...Its simple to set up and works very well. For the price this unit is really is a rock star. My only reservation (not enough to deduct a star) is it's not as user friendly as I think it should be. I think there are functions that I'd never find if it weren't for the manual. Regardless - I highly recommend this radio.

i have had quite a few Stereos in the course of my life so far, and this is simply the best Stereo for the $. I also got it at a discount price which makes it that much better. I installed it myself and worked on the first try. Installation was a snap in my 03 Jeep. I still use CDs and this unit is great while going over bumps (no skipping present on a 15 Mile/h speedbump going 8-10mph). I mainly use Bluetooth though, i have an Iphone and an Android. Bluetooth connectivity is a breeze and links up to an app for your iphone. i havent tried my android yet (just havent gotten around to it.) The overall menu on the stereo itself is absolutely robust, complete with options i am well known to, and some i have never even heard of (ill have to look up eventually) Audio is crisp and clear. Pros: Easy to install, and really quick setup. Sounds amazing even on OEM Jeep speaks. Menu and features are extremely robust. connectivity is insanely awesome! has iphone app! has a IR remote and you can even change the songs from your dash or IR remote without even touching your Iphone once its linked and playing. It actually tells you song names and artists from the FM radio transmissions- much like satellite radio does- no more waiting till the end of the song to hear who the artist was of a new hit thats getting air time! this unit comes with a Boom (mic) for handsfree calls that i just didnt install, simply because i dont usually make calls or accept calls while on the road. Cons: absolutely None. Note: the Stereo's Menu looks a little intimidating at first when you start fiddling with the LED colors/RGB effects and sound/EQ options but takes a only a second or two to learn and figure it out. I friggin love this thing!

This stereo wounds great and had very good Tuner reception for our area. The CD player also works well and has a great sound. We have not tried the other options for input yet, but feel confident they will be equally the same. I already recommended it to a friend. Very clean installation by Geek Squad! It would have been nice to know that harness kit, in dash mounting, and antenna adaptor would be needed, so we could have planned our budget better.

I was mainly looking for CD and Aux input, but now use the Bluetooth the most. Its a major upgrade from wired headphones or even a headset, when calls come through automatically on the deck. The sound quality of music streaming by bluetooth is excellent also. There are so many sources to choose from that it can take awhile to cycle through them, but if you like Sirius XM or Pandora, they are built in as well. Geek Squad installation was great too, they set it all up and my mobile paired up and working before I left.

Best Buy installed in our Honda CR-V and it works as expected. Good sound, charges phone while playing music through USB, and buttons are easy. Not sure I love the blinking feature but my teenager likes it.

The features are easy to use as long as you don't make the mistake of allowing access to the installed Sony app. The service tech advised me of this when he was showing how to use the radio after the install. The microphone works great for voice commands and the sound is great on the original speakers of my 1994 Honda Del Sol. The white light display is good for daytime and even better for nights. The USB jack and Bluetooth capabilities are great features.

I bought this because the unit that was factory installed stopped working. It has lots of features that I will not use, such as the ability to use Sirius, Pandora, Blue tooth, as well as attach items such as MP3 players. I now only would, I have recommended this unit to others, and know that for me it was the right purchase. Installation by the Geek Squad was excellent as well.

My son got this radio for his first vehicle. He loves the radio and blue tooth. Easy to use and great sound.
