Excellent camera. Took some great shots of the carribean.

When I use it would not work with the protective case. Had to take off the protective case to use it.

The headband is wide so it rides a little lower on my brow than I like and it can get warm if in the sun. It will work under a cap but the cap has to be loose.

Pretty cool! I use the hat clip alone. I don't use the band.

I bought this on clearance as a spare for my Sony camera

There isn't much to say about a head mount for an action camera. It is as comfortable as such a mount can be and it stays securely on your head. I can't find any notable flaws in the design and it is effective for what it was made to do.

didn't fit the camera i bought. the screw size was just off.

Nice basic unit. Nothing special or remarkable. It works fine for what is needed.

Looked at reviews and the head mounting although simple may be clumsy to use.

The piece that attach to the camera the screw is the wrong size, the diameter is too small. I remove it and replaced with the right size but i did have to drill the hole a bit bigger, took like ten minutes but i don't get why the smaller size other accessories that I purchase didn't have that problem

I looked this thing up based on the product number of my camera but it didn't fit.

Good idea but doesn't fit a Sony HDR sa20 cam. The base doesn't fit.

Cheap strap for Sony action cams, but the later models unfortunately.

I bought it as a bundle with the cam. It will not work for this model. Buy the wrist trap instead; it is very comfortable.

Let me just say, out the gate, that I knew this was not compatible with my AS50 model, but I had already purchased the "universal" kit, I figured this would come with some attachments I did not have. I was right, and I got a spare headband in case the other wears out. The problem with this and many other accessories is product saturation. Sony and other companies will put out multiple "grades" of a product, and offer lots of accessories, but aren't exactly 100% clear on what each accessory is compatible with. This is where I feel Sony can really overtake the market. But they're clearly content with how things are going, and Sony isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. The price of this for the headband and base mount is worth it, even if you are like me and bought several accessories, just to take them apart and play "Action-cam Legos" like i do.

I purchased the HDR-AS200V and a few accessories including this mount. The camera will not fit on the mount while in the Splash Proof case. I looked at some YouTube videos from Sony and it shows the camera attached to the mount in the case but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the case mounted. I've noticed there was another review where Sony responded saying this mount will work with the SplashProof case, I'm here to tell you that it DOES NOT WORK with the case. I called Sony and they essentially told me that I did not know what I was doing and it does mount. I also bought the handlebar mount but dropped the nut overboard my boat (My Fault), well in order to get the nut I have to buy a whole new kit. I'm pretty disappointed with the service and accessories I've gotten from Sony. On a positive note, the camera is pretty nice and easy to work. I'd try to return it to Best Buy but I feel bad as it's not their fault or problem.
