I recently upgraded my home theater. The last item I needed was a new subwoofer. I purchased this sony and it makes a world of difference when watching on the new tv or streaming my music through bluetooth. The deep bass makes all the difference.

I recently set-up my 7.2 surround sound using a STRDH770 and Sony Core Series speakers. These subs hit hard and sound great. The only issue is the audio cable is only ~5ft long. Had to purchase longer cables to position subs where I wanted them in the room.

The Sony SA-CS9 Subwoofer works fine in my bedroom. It was easy to setup in a couple of minutes. My Vizio Sound Bar lacked the bass quality on its highest setting. The Sony Subwoofer completes the lower frequency sound for a good bass feel. The price was great for such a high quality item. I recommend Sony products anytime.

This is a great addition to your stereo player. The base on it is phenomenal. I’m really enjoying it.

Bought this to go with a Denon receiver and a Denon turntable. Very good quality. I had to turn it down because it can get pretty loud. This is a really great buy so if you are looking for a sub at a good price, this is it.

Great deep bass. I love that it detects when it is needed. It will turn itself off if there is no low frequency signal but then turns itself back on when one comes through.

Good sounds, though the Bass can be a bit muted at times. Though I live in a tiny home so overall it makes great Bass. Sounds like thunder

Everything I needed in a sub! Crazy Bass without distortion. Music, Movies and Video games sound amazing. Should have waited for the sale, would have gotten 2 for what I paid.

Great sub! Loud base. Really completes the 5.1.2 system I'm running with the rest of the song core series. Considering getting another to add to the set!

Very good speaker. Sound is amazing and voice coming through the speaker is outstanding. Bass & rumble is top notch definitely when you can control the sound and bass.

Had to replace my old Sony SAW - X700 sub which was huge. I was a little nervous about the compact size of this sub but it sounds great , would absolutely recommend

It pushes bass well on my STR-DH190. I follwed the instruction from Sony and the manuel's pictures. The bass sounds and feels good down to 20Hz. I will soon make a small stand for it but in the mean time, I'm using the styrofoam it came with. I just painted it black for looks.

This is a big, solid piece of equipment. It completes the bass in the aural picture presented by my 5.1 system, which is otherwise comprised by Polk T series bookshelves and a center channel. I’m running it all off a mid-range Sony receiver. The air-moving lows are impressive though you need a dash of volume to bring it out. It’s takes a bit of practice finding the sweet spot between the right gain against the ideal frequency roll-off, I’m not thrilled with the prospect of constantly getting out of my chair to adjust the SW depending on the genre of music or what’s best for my movie. More looking for a set it snd forget it goldilocks setting. But for the money I’m happy as a clam playing with my new toy. My 15 year old self is blown away by spatial audio and surround-sound in a home theatre.

Doesn’t go subterranean but provides a solid foundation to complement bookshelf speakers. Well worth the cost.

Great boom! Def gives the rumbles when needed and sound is great. Not too big of a box either. The only issue I had is the cord to the receiver is kind of short.

I bought this product to replace my old DCM subwoofer. I think that the sound quality and adjustability of this sub is much better. It's perfect for a small to medium sized room and is easy to set up.

This was the easiest setup I ever did. yes it is a wired unit, which I like, (with others this may be a deal-breaker). My Sony TV has really nice sound (and the room is small) so I am very happy with the acoustic screen sound BUT I wanted deep end rumble. I did not want to get a sound bar or other setup so I found this. My TV has a dedicated headphone/subwoofer output to all I had to do was plug the sub into it and set the output to "subwoofer". Then all I had to do was adjust the volume and bingo it was all set. it sounds great and works perfectly. It even has auto-shutoff which is cool too.

This sub is decent for the price. This sub fits perfectly under my computer desk and blends well with my Micca bookshelf speakers. Is it perfect? No. I've heard better (and I own better), but those are more expensive and larger units. However, I like it better than anything you can buy that's actually meant for a computer...
