Bought these to replace my 25+ year old Sharp speakers in my garage. Crisp, Clean Sound with plenty of Bass, especially for a Bookshelf Speaker. Highly recommend for the price.

I use these speakers along with 2x Sony - Core Series 10" 115W Active Subwoofer - Black, 1x Sony - Core Series 4" 2-Way Center-Channel Speaker - Black, and Sony - 725W 5.2-Ch. Hi-Res 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver - Black. The sound is amazing and I couldn't be happier. I have used them for gaming, movies, and just playing music with my phone via bluetooth through the receiver (amazing feature!), and I have yet to find anything to complain about. 10/10 would recommend!

Overall Great Speakers! Clear Sound with great Bass as well. You will definitely love these.

Misty that's really sounds good thank you very much and I thank God for Best Buy I wish I would have had my center speaker but that's all right I'll try again to get another one I'm glad it's three way speakers make me want to get the floor stand and speak also

I bought a Sony Bravia TV, which allows one to use its center (in-TV) speaker as the center speaker for a surround system. The TV sounds great for a TV but I wanted a little more of the theater experience. I added two of these speakers for right and left fronts and two 8 inch non-Sony sub-woofers to complement the front center TV speaker. I did not get surround sound rear speakers as i prefer my TV sound to be in front of me. Although I was really only looking for a little better sound than what the TV or a soundbar could produce, I have to say, I am blown away. I have the Core 5s wall-mounted about 5" from the wall. I stuck rolled up socks in the rear ports to soften the mid base. I would say these Core 5s are fine for including in a TV sound system. Would I recommend them for a stand-alone, music sound system? No. But I don't see these speakers as intended for this purpose. These are good speakers for a TV setup. At the sale price I paid for them, $83, they go from good to great.

The speakers are in my office connected to my system and the sound is great!

For the money, these are awesome. I have a Denon PMA 600 and Polk subs to complete the setup. Sound is really clean and crisp. I have a pair of Triangle Borea BR03 which don't sound any better and we're $150 more.

Great sounding pair of bookshelf speakers. Just bought a Sony receiver also and i wanted a new set of speakers to go with it. After doing some research and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to match the slasher with the amp. They sound really clear, even at high volume.

These speakers are perfect to round out our surround sound system. Our old Infinity rear speakers finally bought the farm. We tested these Sony speakers in the store to get an idea how they would sound. The salesman demonstrated a full range of sound that showed that these speakers would be perfect. We have listened to our vinyl records, TV shows, movies, and You-Tube, DVDs, and CDs and all performed better than expected. I recommend to anyone with a 100 Watt System.

Cheapaudio man on YouTube recommended these and he wasnt wrong. Great sound and base. I think they look cool without the cover on. Im sure the more expensive ones soud better but for my purpose they are perfect.

Better than Klipsch RP600M to my ears. I also put these up against a few others and the only pair that came close were my old Paradigm Mini Monitors from the 1990’s.

Sound great for value-priced studio monitors or, as I am using them, PC speakers. Have rubber feet and quality binding posts for the speaker wires. You do need an amplifier to drive these from your PC line out or speaker levels, but you can upgrade many 2.1 PC systems with these.

Great speakers for the cost! The sound quality is excellent. I would recommend these midrange speakers.

I purchased 2 pairs and i only put up two of them because the sound is so good i did not need to connect the other pair as of today the sound is smooth no issues great investment sony speakers for my money best you could purchsr.

These things are great and just barely squeezes into the ikea kallax shelf, great sound clarity and more bass then I’ll ever need.

I got these speakers on sale for $75 and I cannot be more happy with them . These are GOOD speakers especially for the sale price of $80. I haven’t really tried a lot of other speakers but I have tried the micca rb42 and the Sony’s are more balance and diverse in my opinion . There’s really good speakers and for the price , I don’t think they can get anything better .

Disclaimer: I have a Marantz 5010 giving each speaker about 100 watts each and a Martin Logan Dynamo 500 Subwoofer. So I've been looking for a set of speakers for L C R for a while but being a college kid and gotten lucky with good deals of most of my equipment and speakers I was on a budget. My Bowers and Wilkins 685's and old infinity center channel were great, but I planned on using them for something else preferably all matching. I was considering a set of Miccas from Amazon when these were on sale for 75 a pair and I knew price per performance for a LR and center from Micca it would be pretty tight competition. Plus I wanted to give the seemingly nonsense super tweeter a try. As a salsmen who has played with everything from polk t15s all the way to martin logan ESLs I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Without much tuning and the right crossover setting and right amount of power they preform for movies pretty well. Which that is the primary use I have planned. However putting on Nirvana unplugged and DJ shadow there is tight midbass and highs that are clear but not to hot as I was expecting. Im not a fan of anything by sony apart from their TVs and Dacs but I am thoroughly impressed by these. I just which the matching "center" was bigger so I wouldnt have to buy 4 and use 3.

I bought these to replace my rear channel in a 5.1 setup. These are performing magnificently! These speakers bring out more detail in my rear channel than I had previously in my other rear speakers. The best thing is the price was right!
