This camera is easy to use and take great pictures. The video quality is great as well. I found it so easy to use i got one for my 70 year old parents who stated in my day cameras took film. Once we got past refecting on the past they were off and shoot photos of the grand kids

This camera is so compact and lightweight that it can be taken anywhere. I bought the camera for my honeymoon in two months. I've been using my smartphone as a camera for years, but I do not want to take a smartphone to Jamaica so I thought I'd finally cave and buy a digital camera. I am beyond thrilled I bought this camera! It is adorable and so easy to use, and the flash is so bright! I took a picture in a completely dark room and the picture came out looking like I had all the lights on in the house! The only complaint I have is the button to capture the image isn't on the corner of the camera where it usually is. I keep tapping the zoom button by accident while taking a picture. I guess I'll get used to the setup of this camera though, and I'll stop doing that eventually.

It felt really odd carrying electronics into the ocean, but it performed quite well. When the water wasn't churning silt from the ocean floor, I could get some quite nice pictures with good lighting and everything. I was pleasantly surprised, in the end, and compared to the cost of buying any other camera plus a water proof case for it, or even the cost of JUST a water proof case, the price of this camera was really great for the value. I was probably being a little extra cautious, but what I liked to do was bring a small Tupperware full of tap water to the beach with me since we rarely come out of the water and then go straight home to be able to perform the after care for the camera. Instead, when I was done I'd just drop the camera into the Tupperware until we got home and that helped to dissolve any salt and remove any sand/grit that may be left behind from the last swim. It wasn't really cumbersome since you don't need a massive amount of water, and you could of course have used the showers at the beach etc to fill it if you find that easier.. The only downside is that I got so carried away thinking about keeping this camera clean and taking care of it that I got a little lax with respect to caring for my cell phone...I managed to swim with the cell phone in my pocket for the better part of a half an hour before realizing it and by then it was too late! At no fault of the camera, of course. :)

Same as the pink camera, this unit showed up used with damage.

Very easy to use, light weight, and water proof features are great for the outdoors. The camera come with great options, wireless, easy to print, etc. Also, nice design and colors.

This is avery good camera with small form factor, water proof, shock proof etc. Easy to take pictures in the swimming pool. the accessorry to hanng the camers in the swimming pool is very useful

This camera is a perfect add on to my everyday carry bag. It's fast to turn on and grab a shot and then easy to put away just as fast. I love it.

Excellent camera, this is second time i bought it because first one was lost on the sea, Bad luck! Very usefull to film and take excellent photos

I LOVE this camera. It takes amazing photos and is so small it can fit in the back pocket of my jeans...even the really tight ones! lol The underwater pictures and video's always turn out AMAZING! We have had many underwater cameras and this one by far takes the best pictures. Like all underwater cameras, you need to take extra care after it has been in the water. All seals need to be checked regularly to make sure there is no damage. Every underwater camera I have owned seems to have a shorter life span than a normal camera, due to the nature of the product. This camera is no exception. Ours failed after having it for 2 years, which is still longer than any other underwater camera I have owned, but I have no problem giving this camera 5 stars. I am buying this camera again to replace my other one. By far the best underwater camera on the market.

I bought this camera to take on vacation with me to Jamaica so I could take pictures and video and also some underwater if I needed to. I'm a beginner so I wanted something that was very easy to use. First, you can't take any pictures with this camera with a memory card. You have to supply your own memory card. There are A LOT of options to this camera and it's very light and compact. I easily figured out how to take basic pictures and video. The pictures and video have a beautiful quality to them. As another reviewer stated, it doesn't take the best pictures at sundown but overall it's a good camera. I still have A LOT to learn about this camera. I do wish that I could connect to the camera via WiFi so I could easily post pictures. Another thing (a small thing) that annoyed me a bit and I have to get used to is the sliding front face.

An OK camera for normal use and has many functions. We used the camera on our July trip and had good results. When we took it on our Aug trip and used it in about 2-3 feet of water it died. Somehow water got inside the camera. There is no apparent problem with the O-ring seal and the closure. Of course it is out a warranty and Sony said to send it to Precision Camera repair who wants $166.00 to repair.

I got the previous generation of this camera as a gift and was excited to take it on a snorkeling trip in the Caribbean. Having used it only outside the water for a few months, I looked forward to taking pictures under water. I was careful to ensure all the seals were clean and free from dirt/dust before taking it out to the sea. Unfortunately after one use under water, the camera did not work any longer. I wasn't surprised because this camera has a sliding cover and I'm puzzled why Sony would design a waterproof camera with moving parts. I called the customer care department numerous times but without any proof of purchase they were unwilling to even entertain an option of replacing or even investigating the potential root cause of the issue. I was redirected from one department to another until they called me back from the "right" department just to tell me they couldn't do anything and hang up. Very disappointing product and an even more disappointing customer experience from Sony.

Great little camera...so far good battery life! Close up great...rock concerts great!
