This Sony digital voice recorder is easy to use and has excellent play-back sound quality. Can store different venue recordings in separate folders.

I'm a professional researcher and use this model recorder exclusively. I've purchased about six over the past year for the rest of our team to use. They work well in one-on-ones as well as in a large room. As we often have the recordings transcribed, we're very particular about the sound quality - and this model provides a high level sound quality for even the most difficult conditions. An added bonus is the built-in male USB connection to download the files directly into your computer. I've also noticed the price has been reduced over the past three times I've bought them, which of course is an added bonus, making them an even better value.

Some sites I work at have a no cell phone policy, so when there is a need to make voice notes there - this is the perfect tool. Easy to use, compact, and with plenty of memory.

This is clear voice recording in big class room lecture. I use LP mode but sounds are good enough except little short recording total time. I want 1ooh more. If you download recording data in your computer soon, this is fine.

I bought this item for work. It is a great tool when you need to write a lot of reports. You speak what you want written into the microphone ( I use a headset) and when connected to the computer Dragon Naturally Speaking types it up for you. Proof read and submit report is all I have to do.

Good recording quality, mic is appropriately sensitive and volume and clarity are good. Only complaint is that there's a slightly-longer-than-expected delay between hitting the record button and the start of the recording, so my first time using it, the first partial second of each recording was lost. Oops! Now I pause a beat after hitting record before speaking, and everything's great.

We used this voice recorder to document stories from my parents. It integrates with Dragon speaks software and makes writing your Biography a breeze!!! It's battery efficiency is amazing. I haven't even had to change them even after hours and hours of recording!! It's tiny and sleek and will fit in your pocket while you talk and still picks up a nice crisp sound. I highly recommend this product.

The operation is so simple and it does it so easily. I can lay it down on my desk and get up and walk around the room, the recording quality is great. Small ,simple, does what it is supposed to. A definite good buy.
