Item is very versatile and works well especially for use in lectures. Upgradability with a microsd card to 32gb affords thousands of hours of recording at the lowest quality or several days at the highest quality plus you can transfer to computer for archiving the recordings. Can also attach other microphones and uses two AAA batteries for long recording times. It does not have a backlit screen as suggested by some websites. Very light and good quality.

This is a great device. I use it to record employee meetings at work and to record telephone conversations with elderly relatives to keep their stories of their early days and childhood. This device is perfect.

Purchased this one because the one I wanted was out of stock. I dictate important documents that need clear recordings and have been happy with the sound quality of this one so far. Be sure if you are in any wind to cover the mike while you speak. Give it a few test runs to see how close you need to be for the quality of recording you desire. This one does the job well and would definitely buy again

The recorder works very well, fits into a purse or pocket, and does a great job.

Only problem I see is that they don't tell you how to use it with office to convert audio to text. That's the main reason I got it. Otherwise it works fine. Please add documentation on dragon software and how to use with ms office.

Previous product research gave me a choice to consult other sources or go into deeper on-line research with Best-Buy. I did, and it was a good choice. The Voice Recorder came on time, in excellent shape, and I followed the instructions. Result: several high quality recordings.

The noise reduction system works very well. I use it in an auditorium to record program that use pole mounted speakers and the quality of the recordings were good.

The recorder was easy to set up and use and I got great sound quality recording a conference call over a mediocre cell phone speaker. The software was also simple and made playback even clearer. Small, solid, easy to lose as well; I just know it's around here somewhere...

This is an excellent recorder for doing basic Podcasting. The built in USB is great because you don't have to fumble around to find a cable. It is easy to use and has good quality for a low cost recorder.
