This device has excellent clarity at a 10 foot distance while being concealed in a shirt pocket. Adjustable sensitivity and digital playback are just a couple features. Great value!

It was somewhat hard finding a stereo recorder and this one was simple. We purchased this for my 85 year old mother-in-law who is a professional musician. We had another recorder which actually recorded very well and had good stereo separation, but it was difficult to use. This recorder is not as good with stereo separation, but does a great job and is very easy to use. My MIL really wanted a cassette recorder, but they are pretty much impossible to find these days. This little jewel is just as straightforward to use and the controls are virtually the same. She uses it a lot to record sessions, some of which are public and this unit captures the sound faithfully and clearly.

Really good sound quality. My wife uses one at work. This one actually went to a minister in Kamiah, ID where the several wild fires destroyed homes and livestock. She is using it to take stories of the fires from people.

This is a great recorder. Good sound quality, easy to operate and decent battery life. It has the ability to save each recording as a different file too.

It works real well capturing voices close by, but I am wanting to record meetings and the people a little further away are harder to hear.

This recording device is easy to get going, simple to learn, and picks up sound very clearly and effectively. If you need an everyday recording device, this will certainly get the job done for you.

Bought this for my aunt who is such a fantastic storyteller! She doesn't use a computer so I bought this for her to record her phenomenal stories in her beautiful accented voice. It was super easy to use, picked up clearly the voices while just sitting it on the table, and needed no extra mic to work as we needed. So far, she absolutely loves it and immediately put it to use. She's learning how to transfer her stories to a computer from my brother....which he says is very easy too.

Had very little time to shop, in store (Natick MA)... College student in a rush to record an interview within an hour of purchase. Easy to use out of the box. Uploaded to MacBook Pro with ease. Best Buy staff member for section was familiar with this niche product, including explaining the value of the more expensive brand item (sound quality, battery lie, storage capacity, and USB connector). Quite satisfied.

Reviews gave this super ratings and I agree now that I've used it several times. It's smarter than I am and has many "extras" that I may use over time. I use it simply to record interviews so far and it's picks up the voices very well without alteration. In a restaurant it also picks up dishes and glassware noise and other tables' voices, so I've learned to go to quieter venues. Easy to use, listen to, recharge. Small and inconspicuous s it doesn't distract the interviewee. I like it.

Overall a great recorder. Works well with MAC computers. Easy and lightweight. Background noise is minimal.

I really like this recorder. I've used it for interviews, recording music, and informal conversations. Sound quality is very good, even from the back of a room during a rehearsal. Very easy to connect to a PC/Mac and copy files. Very useful little gadget!

For the money, your getting an outstanding digetal voice recorder with lots of memory and it has a slot for the mini memory card, I like that it has a rechargeable, it also has a USB Port where you can download your recordings to you laptop or desktop computer, it has easy to use control buttons and it has a day and time stamp. I would highly recommend itt to anyone that is looking for a digetal voice recorder.

Used it to record a band concert and the fidelitiy was fantastic!

Even music records surprisingly well in a large hall -- I'm not saying it's fully professional quality -- and I use it for podcasting as well, where, again, it surprises me, given the price.

This is a nice little recorder. It has lots of storage and plenty of options, but you can ignore all the bells and whistles and use it right out of the box without changing anything. It picks up well and the sound is as good as you could expect from the small speakers. If better sound is required earphones will significantly improve the playback. I don't use it a lot, but I like having it handy when I need it.

This little digital recorder is very good; it has great features (recording in MP3 format, compatible with Linux as well as Mac OS/X and Windows, additional storage via micro SD) and records very clearly. I have nothing bad to say about it other than it was a bit pricey.

Using it to record interviews for my doctoral dissertation. Great tool.

The recording quility ,battery life , along with the amount of storage is GREAT!!!!
