I use it from lectures to recording music and it does it all excellent. I really like the software that comes with it for transporting your files. You have a lot of things you can do with your files and it dates all files which makes it easy to find something but you can also name your files.

While this is the 1st device of such I've owned, it does what it says it will do on the box. The USB port to my computer I almost missed. I don't think this is their top of the line model as I saw a metal version that had a FM tuner but the price was 3x's higher (in the models choices for directions I think is where I saw that).

I like the USB connection that pops out of the bottom. No cable needed but it does come with one too. Nice touch. Definitely recommended.
