It does what it supposed to do. I guess like everyone else, I don't read instructions, and still somehow managed to figure it out. Not exactly an intuitive machine, but had as long battery life and can record a lot of lectures. If your battery runs out, you can use your cell phone Charger as a battery.

The device's sound qauality is not the best. However, playback on a computer is much better.

I did the research for you; this is the digital recorder you want. Sony has all the features and flexibility built into this compact unit. The LCD is very nice, and the menu structure to setup the unit and make changes is pretty easy to follow.

I do a lot of interviews and found this unit to perform above expectations. I can record five interviews and down load them very quickly to my computer. Its easy to charge using a USB connection to the computer. The sound quality is excellent.

I totally enjoy being able to record on my voice recorder, upload the recordings onto my PC and then download to a CD for listening/practicing purposes while driving. A wonderful method to use for choir rehearsals and vocal private lessons!

I am very happy with this unit for documenting lectures, dictation, etc. I tried recording music and it was OK. I like the downloadable software which makes it very easy to transfer the info to your computer, save the files, back up, fast forward, etc.

This product is very easy to use during school lectures. The noise cancellation could be a little better but it's a great product overall.

I bought this to be able to take notes at meetings and still be able to pay attention to the meeting. Does exactly that. Picks up from a fairly far distance and is clear when played back.
