I really like this device. It is compact so it's easy to carry with me in my backpack. Quality of recordings is good -even at some distance. Especially happy since it was pretty inexpensive. Several classmates have commented that they would like to have one.

I bought this to replace failed device. I am impressed with the sound quality and ease of operation, but the battery life is outstanding! I use it almost daily and after threes weeks, still the original batteries!

I sat in the store for half and hour reading all the info on each recorder this wasn't the cheapest and wasn't the most expensive ( normally I get the most expensive because I like to have the best.) but I decided this was the best option and I love it easy to use works great only problem I have is I have yet to figure out how to get the sd card to work to record on that instead of internal memory.

It's easy to keep in my brief case to record meetings for preparing meeting minutes. But when using it for only one time to prepare minutes, not able to go backwards a little to replay something not understood. I may need to use it more to get the hang of it. It picked up all conversations even by those at the end of a conference table.

I picked up the Sony Voice Recorder the night before the meeting and it was very easy to set up. The instructions are clear and simple. Excellent recording of conversations in a meeting space. The recorder was left on a counter space while the meeting went on and the play back of the meeting was very clear & audible. This is my second digital recorder and probably the best of the two. I would really recommend it.

I have good luck with this model sony digital voice recorder. It is reliable. It stays on as long as I need it to, usually 4-6 hours at a time. It holds a tremendous amount of audio. It is simple to download and save on my apple computer. They are a little pricey but reliable.

I purchased this recorder for interviewing study participants. It is easy to use and the playback quality is great. It also shows all my interviews in one place, which is very helpful. No problems. Very satisfied with this product.

I love this thing. I have tried a variety over the years, but the Sony units seem to consistently have the best record and playback quality, and durability. I like the ability to connect via USB so I can archive recordings to a PC if desired. The unit has pretty much every feature I could possibly want. Sound pickup and quality is amazing. The only thing I dislike is the playback button, I would like to see it be a little more recessed. I usually carry the unit in a pocket, and I find that if I lean against something, or bend my leg, playback can be accidentally activated, which can be mildly embarrassing at times. Yes, I realize that I can put the unit in “hold” mode to prevent this, but I prefer to leave the hold off from an ease of use standpoint. Overall though, a great little unit.
