I bought these for a family member who has needed the high end hearing aids for years, 1 broke and the replacements would have cost thousands to replace, which he didn't have. So we got thesr and after some time and effort setting up the app and then the settings, he is happy with them. So they are definitely worth trying

It's only been 3 days but very happy so far. Excellent sound quality. Easy to set up and customize to my hearing profile. Virtually invisible and less than half the cost of Eargo.

These are quite good hearing aids with excellent sound quality. As a wearer of Signia hearing aids for several years, it was quite apparent to me as soon as I heard their startup sound that they’re rebranded Signia devices. So they’re good quality devices. I think they perform pretty much as well as anything I’ve had from an audiologist over the years.
These are small devices that are very discreet. They’re not invisible, but someone would have to look closely to see them. The downside of this is that they use a small 13 battery that only lasts for a few days. The battery door is small , but over time I got used to that. They also have no controls on the body, so any volume adjustments have to be made from the app. They are so small that they have no wireless connectivity, so there is no streaming from your phone with these.
Setup with the app is not too difficult. It leads you through a hearing test and then programs the hearing aids according to the test results. The app also supports fine tuning the sound in various ways. You can adjust loudness in each ear up or down. You can also tell it what is not working right and it will make adjustments to try to address that. For example, I was having a hard time hearing speech clearly, so I selected “unintelligible speech” as the issue, and it made changes that greatly improved the situation.
While these worked well, I ultimately ended up returning them because I missed streaming audio from my phone too much. I also was growing tired of changing the batteries so frequently.

I had bought two different “in the ear,” hearing aids. I will admit that they both increased the sound level and I was somewhat satisfied. I then bought these and everything changed. After I completed the set up, I though they were not doing anything, but what I found out, they didn’t make everything louder, they only made the tones I could not hear more clear. I had to take them out to believe what I was hearing. My volumn on my Dodge truck stereo was turned down from 38, which was the max, to now it is 13-15. I love these and also got a 90 day trial period, they won’t be returned. PS I did try some $5000,00 over the ear hearing aids, not bad, but I’ll keep my extra $4200.00!

I started on a quest to help my mother, but she doesn’t like these things called hearing aids. I probably went through five or six different pairs until this one fitted the best and sounded the best. Now none of them are going to be as perfect as going to an ear doctor, but if urine situation like I was, where your mom doesn’t wanna go to a ear doctor because that’s only for older people, this is the best .

I loved the product. It fits my ears and are not feasible so it’s not embarrassing me. I was hoping it can amplify the voices and block the back noise but the higher you go with the voice settings the high mer is the back noise. The big issue is the battery, they seems to run out quickly as i am replacing batteries every week.

These hearing aids work, thay dont make everthing louder like cheper hearing aids I like that they are programable to my needs. Alos I like that they take batteries . If you are out and your rechargeble hearing aids go dead you are stuck till you charge them . I keep batteres with me and just replace them when needed. The batteries last a long time, depending how long I wear them , a week or more. I am use to wearing them after a week. I have worn them to resturaunts and pubic places. I have had trouble hearing for twenty years, but really bad the last three years. I have tried cheaper aids, but they make everything louder and I still have trouble understanding speech. Now with the Soney aids I can finaly hear.

FYI when setting up your email must be applied manually 1 letter at a time not using the pop up system on your phone. After a long discussion with tech support and the app finally accepted my email address everything was fairly simple. Hearing aids seem to be working well but its just day one. Used a android S20 cell phone for setup.

These hearing aids do aid in hearing. They’re not perfect and feel more like amplifiers. They take a lot of adjusting and I’m constantly having to turn them up especially in settings where I’m in a big room. It makes my own voice seem loud to me and now others struggle to hear what I’m saying. They don’t do much for background noise cancellation either which is bothersome. I chose them because I expected excellence from Sony, but now I think a cheaper pair may have been just as good. The case is not secure and I’ve opened it more than once to discover the devices are not in the case. They fit comfortably and I don’t feel them when I’m wearing them.

I had expensive resound bet aids for almost 4 years and had trouble conversing from hearing my voice which was muffled. took these out of the box and into my ears before even setting up. and was amased. because of the venting in the canal I barlely heard my voice and i could finally talk with people. The adjustments on my cell phone are easy to use .They
are easy to insert and very comfortable. great for wearing glasses.

The hearing aid is working well, this is light and fits in the ear with the right selection of front buds. Hadn't had any difficulty hearing when there is background noise and low voice. I use it only when in workplace or in social gathering. It is useful for my daily use and worth for money.

After trying several OTC hearing aids and returning them I decided to try one more time before I would go to a Professional Audiologist and pay the price.
I am glad I tried the Sony's. Fit and Setup is very simple and what I really like is the app's simplicity. Fine tuning is easy to work with. It took the first month just getting used to all the sounds and something in my ears. IT WAS TOUGH. But after 2-1/2 months I can't believe what I have been missing out on all these years. I now have them in from when I wake up to when I go to bed. I can go on and on but they are worth the price. I wanted rechargable, bluetooth and something discreet. But I just wanted to be able to hear and didn't want things hanging off my ears. People don't even notice I have these plus I wear them in the gym with no problems. You wont be dissapointed but you will have to put the time in to adjust to your new hearing. Thank You Sony!!!!

I bought these to try while waiting to get a hearing appointment. They made it so much better for me when watching TV or a video, they didn’t do everything I needed from them, (my hearing was just too bad) so after a month, I returned them.
I recommend these for anyone without the severe hearing loss I didn’t know I had until I went in for a test.

Hi LeroseL, thank you for the review! I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying your Sony CRE-C10 OTC hearing aids. The battery life will depend on how much you wear them and how hard they have work at processing sound in various environments. Be sure to check the battery expiration dates when purchasing new packs. Also, opening your battery doors at night will turn off the hearing aids and help you get the most out of your batteries.

I previously bought hearing aids - I paid $2000! I had to replace them twice within a year they are rechargeable but they died and stopped wearing them anyway because of poor quality sound.
