Had several cameras over the years, way back to ones with film, digitals just keep getting better & better. The megapixels keep improving, this has the most for this size camera I could find, great pictures, many functions, incredible!, I love it!

The DX300 is easy to use, produces sharp images. Good Leica lens. Lightweight and has option of using the viewfinder or LCD monitor.

This camera has an nice zoom, easy set-up and is easy to use. It has numerous settings to accommodate most varieties of picture taking. The zoom is very nice compared to other cameras I've looked at, and the price/bundle was a determining factor in picking this particular item. So far I'm satisfied with the product and plan to take many beautiful pictures in the near future.

I absolutely love using this camera. From the up close shots to wide angle long distance shots, it's the best point and shoot camera I've ever had. This is my second camera of this model as I wore the first one out. Happy to purchase again as I feel I got my money's worth.

I recently took this camera on a trip to Thailand with me. It's Amazing. The zoom is incredible. The megapixels help take amazingly detailed photos. It had a bunch of different setting and features to help you take the perfect photo. Any 55mm filter will fit the lense. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Used this for 7 weeks on a road trip. Overall it did not disappoint. I wish it had a way to attach the lens cap to camera like our canon did. Also when using menu, the selections disappear too fast. No setting to fix that. But it takes great pictures. Like the feature that saves the 're-sizing' of a shot and keeps the original so that multiple pics can be created from the original.

Has feature for low light it will ask wether or not you are using a tripod.I was able to get a clear picture of the moon without a tripod.I have taken pictures of my kids and grandkids that look like they were done by a pro.I have a Sony Alpha and this one is much better.It has better zoom and I don't have to carry extra lenses.

This is a great camera for someone getting into photography. It is easy to use and the Zoom is awesome. The picture quality is great. Just stating to get into photography and it is making it more enjoyable.

This camera is great for anyone, from the beginner on up to an experienced photographer. The zoom is amazing. This was a great purchase.

I have only used this a few times, but so far have been very happy with it. I didn't realize til after I purchased it that it had a panoramic option which I had in an older camera and missed. Fairly easy to use. I wish they would put a better users manual in with the camera. Most questions have to be found online, as the book that comes with it has minimal information as far as help learning how to use all the functions.

I bought this camera as a gift for my wife it came with the Carl Ziess lens. She was very pleased with the zoom and the clarity. Very nice camera, it rivals the big money cameras but at a fraction of the price.

Pros: Very high optical zoom; Takes excellent pictures in low light for not being a DSLR (maybe as good as entry level DSLR in my novice opinion); Reasonable price; Many features plus a couple of pure point and shoot modes for less techy spouses; Many scene modes; Many manual settings in the manual mode; Very good battery life (I took about 300 on 1 charge - of course many were w/o flash) Cons: So many features that finding all the settings takes quite a while; Pictures seemed to lack detail for resolution (although still learning settings - may be able to improve with sharpness settings); Documentation rather lacking (but has built-in help that is good); Need some additional resolution settings

I wanted a camera for a trip to Europe that wasn't reliant on me knowing how to adjust settings like with a DSLR, but that would give me similar photos to take home with me and this was it! Not cheap, but you're definitely getting what you're paying for. Besides, have you ever tried to zoom into something and taken a fuzzy picture that you just end up discarding anyways? With this camera you can zoom so far and clearly that you will feel like you're on that other mountain top you're taking a picture of.

Love this camera. Takes great pictures, even on the move. Easy to use. Handy on screen help menu. Only drawback is that you have to push a button for the flash - doesn't pop up on own.

This is an open box item that I got the camera with 50% discount. There is no glitch or scratch at all. It is a brand new but the box was open. Feel pretty lucky to have this camera for $180

I purchased this camera because I had such a good relationship with my previous Sony camera, which is still fully functional. But I had no idea what a rich range of features and capabilities I was in for. I'm not really technically adept, but this camera really makes me look good. I love it!

Amazing zoom. Very good image stabilizer. Excellent picture quality. I would have loved if the lens cover had a strap so it is not so easy to lose. Overall best camera I ever got.
