It's difficult to recommend this over a stand alone camera which would actually be smaller and easier to carry around, but this camera does have it's advantages here and there. First off it will take a few seconds to turn on and pair so the moment you're trying to capture may be long gone. This camera is best when you know you're going to be taking some snapshots. Using the phone as a viewfinder is great because it's nice and large. The drawback though is the sometimes apparent lag because the phone is connected to the device via wifi. Pressing the snap button on the LCD can be slow at times but that can be resolved by pressing the shutter button directly on the camera which will allow you to fire off faster shots. One of the drawbacks was the slow pairing and connection but that can be offset by the fact that it'll be easier to share files to your social media because the picture is uploaded automatically to your SD card and phone. So you'll lose time initially trying to take the shot but once the shot is taken, you'll be the first one to share it to your facebook or google plus. lastly I like this camera because of the versatility. standing in a crowd can make it tough to take snapshots of your subject if the crowd is tall. having the camera separate from the viewfinder allows you to crane your camera up with your hand while still being able to see what you're shooting on your phone down low. Pair that with a tripod and you can get really creative pictures by snapping off photos remotely while away from the camera. Taking time portraits is easier this way as the phone acts as the remote to the camera. The price of the camera is pretty steep considering you have to provide your own viewfinder with your phone but if you're able to find a deal on this camera it can definitely be a lot of fun. It's definitely not for everyone. Most people would probably be better off with a separate point and shoot but if you're into gadgets and can get pretty creative with the idea of a remote camera, you'd definitely want to take a look at this device. The pictures are the best you could get compared to any smartphone and even though it doesn't have a flash it still takes fantastic low light pictures.

I paired this with the Sony Z1 Ultra phone. Works great for pics, but unfortunately, it does not clip on to my phone the way i thought it would because phone is too large. Makes no sense this would not work since Sony make this to pair with its line of Xperia phones. Only taken like 20 pics. Slow interaction between camera and phone, so you will get bad pictures if people are moving while your waiting for interaction between phone and camera. But for picture quality, i do like it. Only giving it three stars because you can buy a pocket point and shoot with prob. same quality for alot less money. This is a niche camera. I did get alot of Awes for what it was, so the cool factor is great. My next task is to use it as a dash board still stop motion cam. while i use the phone as the screen. ill post review of that expirience later. hope this helps any potential buyers.

Quality is good but glitchy. Be sure and get the SD card because the transfer via WiFi is s-l-o-w.

It's a good camera lens. But sometimes it takes to long to process the Pictures. So you will have to do the pictures over and over again. Besides that the quality of the pictures are good.
