This camera give a whole new perspective to point and shoot. One can take some interesting angle pictures and in some hard to reach areas that other cameras are not able to do.

It would be 5 stars if it fit my iPhone 6s Plus

Fantastic lens/camera and a great addition to my iPhone. For those shots you just can't get without a zoom. My big problem is that I updated to an iPhone 6s Plus and the clap adapter will not fit around the bigger phone.

I've had this camera for over 3 weeks now using it mostly for video. I've attached it to a small Jobi tripod to attach it anywhere. While this is good, it could be better. As with some reviewers, it takes a long time to pair up on phone, enough time to miss some action shots if it's not on already. If it's not attached to the phone and you're more than 3 feet away, it's even slower. That's my other gripe. If you're not directly next to it, it takes a while for it to pair up, record, or take shots. I wanted this so that I could position it in one area (between fence hole of a baseball field) and take video every time my kid goes up to bat. Again, it's good if you're right there, but I wanted it so that I could sit on the bleacher (4+ ft away) and take video. I could have done it with my GoPro, but I didn't like the fish eye effect. And that brings me up to another gripe, the GoPro, once paired (by Bluetooth), can be turned on via phone. With this camera, you need to manually turn it on every time. So I would have to get up turn it on, pair it, then do my thing. All in all, it could be better. I don't know which segment Sony is trying to go after, but if they want to get a piece of the pie from GoPro or at least compete in the arena, they need to improve their pair up capability. Video is good once you have it on a computer screen, but it needs refining when viewing it from a phone. It looks blurry and out of focus. And that's another drawback of this $300 plus camera (at one point), no focus on video that I've noticed. I think it's auto focus and you can't pin point what you want to focus on like on the camera setting. Again, could be better. This is good for those that are casual, more than the camera on the phone but less than a dslr. I have a dslr, but it's too bulky to be carrying around and it's distracting to other people watching the game. So this is good for portability and if connected to a good grip tripod, one stop shooting.

Read many reviews online. Camera works as expected. Would love to have more manual control of it as far as focus goes.

It's an excellent solution in case you need a good camera that t's easy to carry and with a very good zoom. This attached camera in "partnership" with your smartphone makes the role of a full camera in a good shape: easy to carry on and gives you more flexibility and enhancements to your smartphone.
