was looking for a low priced camera and this was the cheapest at Best buy and it still had all the features needed

Bought as a gift for my daughter. She tells me it is easy to use and she can carry it around easly. Pictures are crisp and sharp.

We bought this point & shoot for our family of 5. So many photos are taken with our cell phones & we wanted to have a camera handy that would capture moments with more precision and clarity. It is possible for amazing photos with this camera. However, I sometimes get very blurry images. There is a long lag between pushing the shutter and the photo actually showing up. It is not instant. The camera does need to be held very still or on a tripod in order to take crisp images.

It is very small perfect for carrying around in a pocket and takes great pictures. Brought it with me to Israel and was very happy

I found the controls to be much the same as with my older digital camera. That helped me to learn what I could do with this device. I hardly need more than 5 megapixels, or the digital zoom. The optics are good. I can modify the exposure a bit as I did with my older camera. The rechargeable battery I will probably find an improvement as the older camera ate AA batteries (notoriously short battery life). Good buy for those wanting the spontaneity of the smartphone camera, and the better focus that a dedicated camera will have. Sample picture included.

We've been looking for a compact but high quality camera for quite some time, and we finally settled on the DSC W830 after reading dozens of reviews. We couldn't be happier than we are with this camera. Easy to use, very small and lightweight, and the picture quality is super.

Bought this camera for wife . she had similar (previous version) for 7 years and it broke few months ago. Saw this and bought it considering price and features. Was not disappointed. Initially the pictures looked grainy when seen in camera but when I pulled them off to laptop, they were amazing.

I simply love my Sony Cybershot camera. This is my third Cybershot because I like the simplicity of the way it works and I really like the high quality of the pix and videos.

I am a real estate appraiser & the wide angle is good - its a great value & extremely easy to use. Gave my daughter my old one & she loves it too. This is the one that you take on vacation (good and compact) but don't freak out if something happens to it because its not too expensive. Good buy, thanks.

simple features. love the color pop feature. takes great pictures. bought it for a pocketable camera to take along rock climbing and hiking without dragging the big nikon around.

Is a great camera, light small but with great photos capacity, the most important is a cheat camera with a big value.

My husband and I bought this little camera as a combined Christmas gift. What surprised us is the clarity of low light pics. The ease of use is amazing! Well worth the price.
