Taking it on a cruise. Small enough to carry and takes breat pictures

I'm disappointed that my newest camera doesn't have a view finder in addition to the LCD screen. Most of my photos are on ski slopes or the beach! I first purchased a far more expensive version that did have one, but it took 5 steps to get to it and by then you've missed the photo op! My old camera took zero extra steps for this.

The camera has performed as expected. We needed a small easy to use camera for our recent trip.

Great camera for video taping general things. Only records to 30 mins but good for the price! Great quality!

It's not a DSLR but it takes great pictures and is very small so you can carry it in your pocket.

The Sony DSC W830 is a solid points-and-shoot camera. It may not have all the features on something nicer, but for the casual photographer looking to snap photos now and then, it's perfect. The zoom plus image stabilization lets you get range your phone can't handle. Price is excellent at just over $100.

Basic Camera at a good price. Relatively simple controls. Purchased as a gift for my Mother-In-Law and she is able to operate it just fine.

Small is nice, but for a decent camera, small is hard to work with, and this is small. Difficult to hold stabile, or hold without a finger over something important. I suppose most people are looking for something tiny, and this is just that. At purchase, I looked at the name and specs more than the size. Very nice picture quality. EXCELLENT battery life! Real optical zoom is important for many people, and it has it. The display is not great. Colors are "off" somehow. Not a whole lot, but enough to make me think about returning it. After seeing the pics on a computer and a 60" 4k tv, I like it. The pic quality is amazing, so don't judge it until you see the results. Myself, the biggest drawback is that the settings are not intuitive to me. It's truly a great camera for most people. I take more serious pics, and wanted something faster / smaller for parallel use.

lens cover goes bad to quick. we use 4 of these cameras everyday and take about 60 pictures each everyday. the lens covers go bad very quickly and then when they do the lens itself will stop rotating and working and gets stuck. good camera though and good picture quality.

This is a great and easy to use camera. Takes great pix and you can carry it in your pocket.

My parents came out for our sons graduation so reviewed cameras and went to best but and purchased this one for him and he loves it. When ever we go somewhere he takes it with him. Great gift idea!
