This is a good camera for a beginner. The intelligent auto setting uses the correct setting for each scene most of the time. It takes great photos, a step up from my last camera.

I received this same camera as a gift about 6 years ago. It worked great and I have used it so much.. The Sony name says it all. Because of the good results, I purchased another one. Same features, so it was simple and not a lot of learning.

The camera is small and very light which makes it convenient to carry. The picture quality is good and I can use them to complete my work assignments.

This camera has some great options, especially the panaramic feature that made my pictures look great. Long lasting battery and the ability to upload quickly makes this camera worth it.

I bought this camera for my daughter to take on her trip to Spain. It takes great picture and does well in low light situations. I was looking for the highest optical zoom, highest MP and compact camera for the price. I also liked that the zoom button is on the back side operated buy your thumb and not wrapped around the picture button on the top like some other cameras. The only thing we don't like is the shutter speed is slow. It has blurry pictures with action shots and is delayed so you may miss the shot you actually want. I had read this in the reviews prior to buying it. All of the cameras in this catagory seem to have the same issue. I have not tried all of the features but it looks like it will serve its purpose.

Great price and easy to use. Camera came with many features. Small buttons is the down side. Must charge battery of camera when it is attached to the power cord.

I wanted a small camera to have on hand for major events, such as birthday parties and holidays. This allows me to take good quality photos and not use up a lot of space on my phone. My only slight complaint would be that it takes a while for the picture to come up on the screen before you take another picture. Other than that, great camera!

Was looking to upgrade my older Sony camera for better video clips. This little camera does everything I need and is much more compact than my older one. I have never been disappointed with Sony's products.

Easy to use, and takes great pictures. Only downside is the memory cards are expensive. Bought for my 10 yr old daughter and she loves it.
