Customers are delighted by the DSC-WX350's superior image quality, ease of use, and compact size, frequently praising its performance in low-light conditions. While some users noted minor issues with the flash and a lack of a physical instruction manual, the camera's many features and lightweight design were generally well-received.

I got this camera for my 11 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It's super easy to use, it's small, light. Zooms in well and takes great motion pictures too. Make sure to get a travel case!

Went to purchase another camera but after talking to the Sales Associate and demonstration - pros/cons, I chose this one. I have been taking pictures to see how the difference light types change the picture and I am EXTREMELY happy over the quality of pictures even in all different lighting. Any camera I have had previously took dark pictures indoors and this one has been excellent. I am so glad to buy this camera. Love everything about it - ease of use, small enough to carry so it isn't bulky and the price was exactly what I wanted to pay overall for any camera.

I had an older Sony camera, (I gave $800.00 for it) and I love it and I hated to upgrade, but I wanted a camera with better video recording qualities. My older camera takes awesome pictures but the video was not great...technology has come a long way!
This camera has great recording capabilities and the pictures are great, too! I love that you can zoom while recording. If it is quiet while you are recording and using the zoom, then you can hear the zoom in your video. The new cameras now do not come with manuals but is is fairly easy to use. I mainly wanted this one because of the better zoom and the function button on top of the device. My older camera had that button and I was use to having it.
In order to transfer my video to my IOS devices, I have to record the video in the MP4 format, because the AVCHD format is not compatible., so you have to choose between the two depending on how you want to store and transfer your videos.
This camera is a little heavier and a little bigger than some of the other Sony point and shoot cameras, but I personally like that.
Great and awesome camera and I carry it with me everywhere. I didn't want to use my phone as my only camera because there are limitations with it, but not this camera! Absolutely wonderful!

Prior to leaving on a trip to Ireland I was looking for a compact camera that would take high quality pictures, have significant zoom and panorama capabilities and take movies. This camera did all of that and more. It was easy to learn how to use its many features and was light weight. Given my experience thus far I anticipate having no problems using its wireless capabilities to upload the pictures we took.

Love this camera, its the best one I have owned so far. Takes excellent pics even under not so excellent conditions. Makes all my pics like a professional was behind the camera! Easy to use, lots of fun features, light weight & durable. We took this camera to Alaska & it handled everything nature (& my husband) threw at it. The battery lasted us more then a day to. This camera is a great buy!

Pretty neat. Got it for Christmas, still working through the functions. You can geo-tag your photos, and apparently you can connect it to wifi to directly upload to your cloud. Haven't figured that one out yet, but pretty neat.
Good quality. Love the size of it (I carry enough around without needing a giant camera bag to add to it). Like the settings/lighting features a lot. The low-light is pretty handy.

I have had 3 Panasonic Luminix for the past 6 years. Each had about 2 years of life before the zoom feature stopped working. The size was large in comparison to this Sony. I love the WiFi capability, the zoom, the size is great for small pockets, fits in the palm of your hand, easy to use, great features overall. And, the price is very affordable.

I love the extended zoom on this camera I bought it for nature photos and it is exactly what I wanted. Good pictures in low light, for outside night shots, The only down side is there is no paper owners manual that tells you what all of the features do. And this might be a problem for a novice not familiar with a digital point and shoot. It does have features I haven't figured out yet.

Bought this camera for a vacation I was taking because it was small and had good reviews.
Picture quality is excellent and the battery life is very good. Love the size of the camera, small enough to put in your pocket with a nice long optical zoom in that small package.
With large hands its a little hard to hold sometimes, but with the strap attached I don't worry about dropping it. Overall, I love this camera.

Purchased this camera for a recent family vacation to supplement my DSLR when we took excursions where I did not want to carry a larger camera. The $218 price at Best Buy with the sale was great. The picture quality in day light is great, almost comparable to my DSLR. The image refinement software internal to the camera really does a good job improving the image. Night time photography is good as well. The only exception is if you are trying to capture a lot of motion. I knew going into it though that the lens is not as fast as some of the higher priced models. For that I can use my DSLR. The auto shooting mode adjusts ISO settings very well and with the built in refining software the images turn out nice. While it has many advanced features it does not have the ability to adjust aperture settings or shutter speed independently. I was not looking for that though as I wanted a quick shot and it does that. What I really liked was the 10 shot burst mode and how quickly it shoots. Past experience with the smaller point and shoots is the lag time is such that you miss the shot before it actually fires. This camera responds immediately, akin to a DSLR. I also love the different settings. Especially the panorama mode.
Video quality is great! I was actually surprised at how well it does in low light settings.
This has been a great camera.

struggles with macro focusing and more noisy in low light than I would have liked...too bad that represents a common shooting scenario for me.
Otherwise, it's tiny, lightweight, fast to start, and shoots nice photos in bright light. Lens does a decent job--I suppose an incremental step up in lens performance equals a large step up in price.

My husband needed a camera for work. He bought several different cameras and returned each one after trying them out. They each had something he didn't like about them. They were either to heavy, button wasn't in the right place, flash made picture blue, etc. He decided to finally spend a little more and try this one. Let me tell you as picky as he was with the other cameras he instantly loved this one. It was the right size, took excellent pictures, he just loves it. My daughter and I each have a mirror less Sony camera and we loves those as well. Our Sonys are the best. Definitely recommend this Sony. For a point and shoot may be a little expensive but you get what you pay for.

This Sony camera performed very well: sharp focus, comprehensive menu, and enough functions. It is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket; on the other hand being small and light, it is difficult to hold focus at long distance. The wide field of view is good for architectural detail. Although Best Buy stated that the camera box was new and unopened, the computer/battery charge cord supplied in the box was not correct, so I could not recharge the battery on a cruise; in addition, I have not been able to check the WI-Fi connection. This was a big disappointment. I have ordered the proper cord from another source as debating what happened with Best Buy could be a problem.
Lesson learned : check every function before leaving the store.

Hi blackie, we appreciate the feedback on the camera. We hope you were still able to take shots of your cruise despite the charging issue. The correct port for charging the battery is located at the right side of the unit. Thanks_Mitch

My gamble paid off

I say gamble in that I sort of panicked and just picked a camera based on what a sales person represented. It was an open box deal, so I saved $50 which also made it somewhat a gamble. My camera became my very best friend in Italy. I lost my phone (or it got taken) in Florence, our 4th day in Italy. I had no way at all to capture all the amazing things we got to do and see. PLEASE NOTE: I took over 1200 photos on this camera most of which came out perfect - NOT due to anything I did. It has a few standard settings but frankly they all seemed about the same and they were all quite good. I will at some point try to take the same photo on different settings/light and see if I can really tell the difference in them. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: the zoom on this thing is amazing - I was in a bus perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 mile away when I started seeing the leaning Tower of Pisa and I zoomed in and got this really cool picture of the Tower from a moving bus. I was excited to get to see the thing so I took several pictures of it. Anyway, I can't say enough about this little camera - it is basic yet so far advanced and it is small so it is not cumbersome when travelling. I loved it so much. I took pictures of funny things like glasses of wine or pizza... along with amazing outdoor beautiful sites like the City of Florence, the Colosseum or a cathedral, inside and outside. My camera just adapted, no matter where I was. I learned the basics - and please learn how to turn your flash off when you enter museums... must learn that feature right away. The wireless thing I'm still working with. It does seem to work but I'd rather just download stuff the old fashioned way. Also, that is probably more a feature of just a few photos at a time, not 1200. I tried the Sony PlayMemories program that is default with this camera and it is okay. I prefer Windows Photo or just uploading to my photo service like Snapfish. But that is a personal preference. It isn't difficult either way. Enjoy the camera if you get it and get over your jitters with it. It pretty much takes care of everything for you. It was the hit of my European vacation and we have gotten 5 books of photos from all the places we went made up from Snapfish because that is how wonderful the photos came out. Oh and before I forget - I really like using the camera on grid mode. That way you take nice straight pics. That's about all the advice I have.

This is a great camera for quick shots and for those who may want better than cell phone quality but not quite enthusiast level pics.
It's pretty comfortable to hold and use with all controls being easy to reach and adjust. Build quality is great; nothing creaks or feels like it's going to fall apart. Battery life is great, with several hundred shots off of a single charge.
Picture quality is good, but not phenomenal, but I wouldn't expect that from a camera of this caliber. It's a point and shoot, and it takes decent photos.
I wouldn't reccomend this particular camera at this time because for not much more, you can get great entry level enthusiast cameras.

Recently purchased my camera and absolutely love it! Takes clear, crisp photos, easy to operate and small enough to carry in my handbag.
In addition, you can't go wrong with the price! Best Buy staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about their product. Thank you.
