This camera is amazing. The zoom lens is great. I took this camera on my vacation trip. I was using this zoom to capture animals in there natural habitat. One photo, I was about 60 yards away and I zoomed in and took the photo. When I reviewed the photo, it looked like I was right there close to the animal. The photo was clear and detailed. No blur or distortion. It is loaded with features that I'm still learning to use. All of my photos that I took, were taken in the general setting. They all came out clear and amazing. You will not be disappointed. The rotating screen so you can take selfies worked great. It allows you to see your image before you take the shot. Once you push the button to take the photo, it gives you 5 seconds to adjust before the photo is taken. I love this camera.

This was the first Camera purchase that I had made in nearly 7 years. I did a lot of research and finally settled on this one. It takes fantastic photos has 30x zoom and still fits in my pocket. I really wanted to get the alpha with the better sensor but price and size won out. I especially enjoy the wifi and nfc features.

I love the size. It fits in my purse or sports bag. The zoom is incredible for such a small camera. The continuous shooting mode catches everything during sporting events.

Was disappointed with the latest Sony camera. Was looking for a small zoom camera with a good picture quality. I have owned Sony camera before and was expecting similar performance. The zoom is good, no doubt but not happy with the quality of the photos. Few other features bothered me such as the switch for the flash, small on off button, also sometimes when I turn on the camera, it will shut off automatically for some reason. Not worth the wait for the new camera, also this did not have the view finder, which I feel is useful on a sunny day. I also did not like that the battery had to be charged while it is inside the camera. I ended up returning the camera.

I bought this camera for a wonderful winter trip and I just loved this camera in every way possible! Easy to use, the perfect size, lovely images to be taken with the zoom, and best of all it was just an awesome camera. The pictures produced were superb. I'm so glad I bought this camera.

Bought this camera right before driving across the US to visit the Badlands, Black Hills, Yellowstone, and end in LA. Came home with 600+ fantastic photos and short videos. The compact size makes it convenient to carry, store and use. The Zeiss lens was a primary consideration for quality optics and that seems to have paid off. The 30X optical zoom brings those far-off shots in crisp and clear. The controls and settings can be very touchy due to the compact size and my fat fingers, but with practice, that problem is going away.

Intelligent Auto mode and 30x optical zoom let me make good quality pictures outdoors. A viewfinder would be make 5 stars.

Camera takes great pictures and the flip screen comes in handy when taking selfies.

Needed a new camera for upcoming trip & wanted a model with long distance zoom & self-photo capability. Checked other Panasonic, Samsung, Canon models too, and decided on this Sony for what I thought was best overall value for quality & price. It's a little heavy for it's size, but packed with many features and the photo/video's are great. Extremely satisfied.

This is an absolutely amazing camera the quality is great the flash is perfect and its designed beautifully and takes amazing videos and pictures. Definitely a great camera to buy. For easy use.

I spent a lot of time researching for a small camera that you could fit in your pocket and take HD film clips and pictures. For the size and price this camera is best for taking high quality film clips and pictures. The focus is right on( no lag ) when you are zooming in/out during filming and picture taking. I look at Canon and Nikon in same range and they can not compare to this camera.

I primarily use this camera for taking pictures at concerts. I used the camera to take pics at Empire Polo Fields a couple weeks ago and the results were pretty good. I couldn't get decent pics from any of the "night" scene presets- my best pics were just went the camera was left to auto. You can make many manual adjustments to get better performance for low-light shots. The flip up screen was a nice feature for taking group selfies. The NFC transfer worked pretty well with my Android. Definitely recommend setting up that feature and trying it out before trying to do it at a concert : )

Great compact camera. Plenty of features for the money. Variangle screen comes in handy. Wife loves the beauty effect feature to touch up our pictures.

Zoom is amazing on this Camera. Good MP and stability, auto focus is perfect

I purchased the camera mainly for video recording but I ended up returning it within 24 hours due to the fact that it the pictures were terrible. It wouldn't focus on anything even objects that were right in from of me. the Video recording was pretty nice and clear. I don't understand why the focus was good on video but the pictures were so bad but if you are only going to be using the camera for vlogging or recording small clips then this would be sufficient.

This is a camera everyone can use, and should have! It is small enuf to carry in your pocket, and big enuf to do a LOT! love it. even connects to wifi!

I always carry a point-and-shoot camera in my DSLR camera bag. Small and easy to use in a pinch.

It has the capabilities of an SLR in a compact size. Great pics, easy to use.
