It does exactly what it's meant to do and it does it well. Easy to reconfigure the button mapping. Bought this and new dualshock 4 to replace an aging SCUF impact. It's been fantastic and I don't miss my SCUF at all.

Its an awesome addition to the controller when playing first person shooter games. Also much less expensive than a scuff and you could use it with different controllers. Also, easy to program any buttons you want on it.

The extra buttons on back are pretty awesome however trying to install on the controller is not so great alittle hard to do fella like your going to snap off the headset pin Easy to set up but overall 30 bucks is better than 200 dollars

This adds backbuttons to your dualshock 4 controller. It will also support the use of this attachment if you use the controller on PC via DS4Windows. Great product!

I was excited when I first heard about these. I tried them out for a few days and decided they weren't for me. I have large hands and require the space these take to comfortably hold the controller. It caused faster fatigue while they were attached. You can easily set which buttons you want them to duplicate. If you have any skins, rubber grips or wraps on your controller, these wont work. They are designed to fit snug to the controller and leave no room for anything else. I wish they were less bulky.

Takes a little while to get used to but 100% worth it for the price. No chance I was going to buy a scuff. If you’re looking for paddles for your controller that are cheap and easy to use these are it.

Works well. Basically, attachment Serves as a shortcut providing you much needed “add-on” buttons rather than default. Great for FPS game modes (swapping weapons & Melee buttons ).

Great tool to augment an already great controller. The buttons are rather non-intrusive and you get used to them soon, I often find myself using them by muscle memory once I got used to them.

Does the job perfectly !! You don't even need to spend 150-200 for a "Pro Controller" when you can buy this little gadget. You just pop it in carefully without forcing it too much and it looks like it's part of the controller. Buttons are great ! They are clicky, to avoid being pressed by mistake, not noisy at all I would say. It took me about 1-2 days maybe to get used with it. You can remap any button on controller to be used for the back buttons. It feels different in the beginning, but after a while you get used with it. Positioning of the buttons I would say is just perfect for me, as they sit right where your fingers would rest on the back of the controller.

If you wanted a pro controller for the back paddles I would highly recommend picking up one of these. At only 40 dollars the back button gives you the same options as a scuf with all the ease.

If you want to increase your competitiveness in FPS games without breaking the bank, this is your best option. The add on takes some time to get used to, but after 3 hours of game-play on Apex Legends over a couple days, they felt natural. No, this is not as good as buying a full on Scuf controller, but for the casual gamer who just wants to be able to say strafe or reload without taking their fingers off the thumb sticks, this is the best choice. If you have an extra $200 to spend and don't mind spending even though the PS5 will be out shortly then buy the Scuf. Otherwise this is a cheap way to make games more fun and become a little more competitive with some practice.

The back button attachment is an excellent affordable alternative for a scuff controller. This product has revolutionized the way I play fps and I forgot how to play without it. I love it.

For the price you really can’t beat it. It can turn a normal PS4 controller into a pro controller. The only problem for me was that it didn’t feel premium enough. I’ve owned several pro controllers and while this option does work it just didn’t feel the same to me. If I had never owned a pro controller before then this probably would have been fantastic. I ended up returning it and getting the razer Wolverine tournament edition controller for my PC. If someone is looking for a budget pro controller option then this is for them.

So I bought this attachment for my DualShock 4 with the thought of it slightly upping my gameplay. My main game at the moment is Modern Warfare, and I have the buttons set to crouch/slide and jump. I’m not sure if it’s my hand placement, but I do find myself awkwardly holding the controller in order to properly use the back buttons. I admit it is easier now to slide and jump in game, but I can’t help but feel awkward every time I use it. I do like that you can have up to three saved presets, so if you play more than one game it’s beneficial. Overall, I’d say it was a worthwhile purchase considering the price. It sure beats spending $200+ on a modded controller with back pedals.

I waited a while for these to come back in stock and I'm glad I finally got one. This thing is great, it's easy to program, fits my hands nicely, and it's a bargain at the price.

I thought this product wasn't going to compete against a Scuf controller but after 2 weeks of using it I would say this is better option than a Scuf. Not only does it have multiple preset button layouts but it also is cheap. $29.99 for pretty much the same functionality as a Scuf for at least $120 cheaper (minimum). I used a Scuf for only 8 months before it broke on me. Im not a destructive player when I play poorly, i.e. not throwing my controller, and it still managed to break after good care. I wish I had this option when I purchased my Scuf and if you don't like this product then return it, you wont be able to return a Scuf...

This is a fun add-on for serious gamers. It is not a necessity but it does make doing combos easier because of the ease of access to the buttons. It is customizable to fit different games.

I’ve always wanted one of the expensive pro controllers with the triggers in the back of the but couldn’t bring myself to spend $150 on one. For the price of this gadget, I pre-ordered Immediately and after using it I’m ready to order another one for my son. From what people are saying, this is the future of gaming and the next-gen controllers will have these built into the controllers so I’m glad Sony made these possible so I can be better prepared for competitive play on next-gen launch titles. Easy to connect to the controller Easy to set up It does take some getting used to but once you get the hang of it you won’t want to play without it.

This is definitely a must have if you find yourself needing more buttons on the controller. Helps a lot if you’re having trouble pressing other buttons.

It works fantastic and is super easy to use. No issues at all and makes playing bloodborne and dark souls much easier without having to take my thumbs off the joysticks.
