The sony E series is great for the price. I had it for over a month and I still have no problems with it. Battery Life is great. I went two weeks without charging the mp3 player while I was on vacation and I used it periodically. When I have the mp3 player playing all day long, it last several days before I need to charge it again.

This mp3 player started off good when I first got it. However, syncing to my computer took 15 solid minutes the first time, and it's consistantly been 20 minutes every time since then. I purchased an 4 GB model and I was much happier.

It's a nice, sleek, affordable MP3 player. I would recommend buying this one!

Great sound quality and very easy to use. The battery life is OK but could be better. The body of the player scratches very easily so you will need a cover also. Over all it is a very nice player for the price. Highly recommend, but order with protective case.

Got this for a person who needs to use easy to understand things due to a learning disorder. This MP3 player was not very easy for them to learn. Also being a new player I was surprised that it would not play MP4.

I was shopping around for a very long time for an MP3 player for my boyfriend. Thought I found a winner because I've had nothing but success with all things Sony. Unfortunately, this product didn't fit that. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to sync music to the MP3 player if you have Windows Vista or Windows 7. Its unfortunate, but if you want an MP3 player, save up and get an iPod...it'll be worth it in the end

It's a very nice MP3 player for the price. However, I cannot get it to sync with Windows Media Player 11 (which is the recomended program and version for this MP3 player). Sonys costomer support has been less than helpful. After 3 hours of online troubleshooting and 3 phone calls to Sony support. It still won't sync. I'm going to be returning it to Besy Buy today and looking for another Player.

I liked the item, I thought that it is very well made and would buy from both Sony and Best Buy again!!

I have owned this MP3 for about 6 months and then one day it just shuts off and now when I plug into my computer or any computer to down load music or charge it the computers don't recognize the device. Also, sometimes the device would freeze up and just sit on loading screen. I would expect this device to have more of a shelf life.

Volume and hold switches not user friendly. Nice memory and size. Ear plugs LOUSY they don't stay in ears quality is POOR!!!. Other features tough faceplate good, sound quality GREAT..... but.... NOT user friendly... my old 4 GB MP3 player MUCH easier to use and very much user friendly!!!!

The Walkman seems good enough, but beware... Sony MP3 players DO NOT support Audible downloads (without using 3rd party software to change the files). This player received high ratings overall and seems to work fine as long as you are using other file formats.

After a few months of owning this product, it seems to be distorted. When I play the music, it goes in high speed like a record spinning at a fast rate. Tried to use trouble shooting but not helpful.

The buttons stopped working. We called Sony about the warranty and they said it would still be about $30 to replace it. Seems like a waste of money - will probably get an ipod.

It seems like a nice MP3 player but I have Windows XP Media Center Edition which I found out afterward is not supported so I will be returning this.

I thought I had found just what I was looking for. After all my efforts, I am nothing but frustrated and disappointed that I cannot sync music to this player. Simply not compatible with Windows Vista....gotta return it and start over.

Windows 7 would not recognize the device properly. No support from Sony. Returned the unit. Got an Ipod.
