The multiple ear cups are amazing. I ended using the padded cups. The standard kept falling out during workouts but the foam filled ones are great plus they keep alot of the background noise out.

These buds are amazing, the hybrid dual driver system brings the best of both worlds and gives you rich bass tones with Crystal highs. I love them.

These earbuds produce a great, quality sound, but the lack of in-line controls and the uncomfortable ear pieces make the price of these earbuds almost unworth it. Don't get me wrong, though. The sound quality is pristine, but it can be matched by the Bose Sport earbuds who have a much more comfortable and appealing aesthetic.

Good quality for the price, I would recommend to a friend.

The Sony XBA-H1 earphones are moderately good earphones. They have a nice tone with a slightly depressed V-shaped response - i.e. some suck-out in the midrange (rather than exaggerated lows and highs). They are a bargain at the current closeout price of $75. I believe they are a much better value than the XBA-H2 - those have only slightly better sound at more than double the price. The logical step up from these would be the XBA-H3 for a somewhat more refined sound (at 3-4 times the price). There are other earphones in the $75-$100 category worth considering, most notably the Shure SE-215 but each of these have a different signature and it really boils down to what you like. These are slightly hotter in the bass and treble with a little suck-out in the mid-range. The Shure's have a more balanced presentation but less bass.

Good headphones from Sony. The sound is high quality.

So got these at my local BestBuy for half the list price. I'm guessing there is a new one coming. I lost my Sony NC over ear headphones..likely taking them out while travelling. Anyway, I wanted something a bit more transportable that could seal some outside sound out. I have not flown with these yet (next week) but they seem to be doing a great job isolated some external sound. The sound is fantastic to me. It is very well balanced and not overwhelming me with any particular frequency in my ear. I'm not very picky in the sound but these are sounding great.

I have tried everything from bose, dr. Dre, monster and j c but, I have never experienced music like what the Sony earbuds produce. Sound isolated and crisp highs with low low bass. Sony started the wave of personal players in the 80's and now continue with the mp3. Why, would they not also have the high end earphones? Rock on sony...

After losing my over ear noise cancelling headphones, I decided to get something smaller (i.e. tired of the bulk of the others too). In search of something that blocked some ambient for flights and sounded great. These do knock down ambient good but with no volume, you can definitely hear the sound of engines and such. This was expected..Once on, It was fantastic. Sound quality is great...perfect mid range...not too much base..not too much treble. I enjoyed it.

Great sound and very comfortable to wear. I often use them to listen to Stitcher radio on my IPad Air and often fall asleep while listening. Very good ear buds.

I bought these exclusively for the gym. At high volume there's a ton of distortion... If you listen to music with very high highs and very low lows; there not for you. I should have bought the over the ear Sony's but I am easily annoyed by over the ear headsets at the gym and seeing people wear them irks me. With that said; they are not horrible or excellent. That. Is. All..

I was looking for headphones on the Best Buy website, the sound quality is great has a rich base, it doesn't have buttons to skip or pause but the great sound quality it's worth it turns out it was cheaper than I thought so I was able to get the warranty as if it were on its regular price : D

Bought as gift for my son. He specifically requested this make and model. He is happy so I am happy.

I have broken some much more expensive earbuds in the past, so I tried these and were surprised how great they sounded. I think its a great cheaper option
