Perfect sound quality and they look great too. Hard to bear Sony.

I bought these based on a recommendation I read at the Wirecutter. That recommendation was spot on and I'm very very happy with my purchase. I use the earbuds for listening to music (mostly folk, a little rock) on my public transit commute (buses, subways, city streets). The sounds they provide is detailed and clear -- a true joy to listen to.

Treble is as clear as Sennheiser Momentum- in ears but much less sibilance. Mids are a little recessed, bass is deep and fairly clear. Overall, not as clear as Bowers and Wilkins C5 Series2 and on par with better treble than the Sennheisers.

Not used to having ear buds sit in canal of ear. Took some getting used to but cant beat the sound quality.

That's what I was looking for my international flights.

Got these on clearance for a killer price. Absolutely the best earbuds i have ever owned. Hybrid drivers are amazing. Better than shure 215s by a long shot.

The Sony XBA-H1 headphones are great. I previously had klipsh headphones which did seem louder but the sound quality was much worse. I also had sennheiser headphones which were slightly better in sound but the build quality was not as good. All-in-all these are great headphones!

Bought for my son's BDay. Great headphones!! Even better they were on clearance!!

These are the worst headphone for the price. The stock apple headphones sound Better and have iOS controls. Really stay away from these and get the Polk Nue Era

This set of Ear Buds has a very wide range of Freq.

Did not live up to expectations - just wanted a simply headphone like prior models but did not get it.

My old ones stopped working after my wife got to them. I was looking for a good pair and came across these. Best sound I've heard in a long time. So glad I bought these!

The hybrid earphone concept does not seem to work well in the H1: bass is not 'there' as possibly compared to the expensive H3 model, or perhaps my hearing has been impaired by working around jet engines, along with natural hearing loss, due to old age? G

One of the worst headphones I've ever owned and yet they set me back 150$! Don't buy these ifor you want true quality spend 50$ on skullcandy headphones they are way better and 1/3 the cost

These are some of the best sounding in-ear headphones I've ever owned. They are a little pricey but I decided to spend a little extra just for the styling, quality, and brand. The fit is absolutely fantastic out of the box (there are 3 sets of silicone and foam silicone earbuds). Not a huge fan of the red and black cord and it also doesn't have any in-line controls which is probably the only setback for me. Would rather give this 4.5 stars but the sound more than makes up for it.

Bought to replace Bower and Wilkins C5 and love them! I've had Bose, Beats, Sennheiser and numerous other mid to upper level sets and these Sonys are on par or exceed the others. Just make sure to get a good fit. Only thing missing is some type of good retention device for gym use.

When listening to music, I like to hear the entire composition in a manner that was intended by the artist. All too often, with other brands, highs and lows are lost, and the music from the small, inexpensive speakers could best be more accurately described as "noise". Sony has hit it out of the park with these. Sounds are true, crisp, and clear. Every nuance of the music is put forth in a much more enjoyable presentation. Albeit, there are less expensive options out there, I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for. These XBA-H1's by Sony are well worth the investment.
