Great Sound improvements in the mic.

The stock microphones that is built is decent. This is a great microphone to get into vlogging and recording in front of the camera. Simple to get started all you have to do is plug it in the top part of the Sony camera and it will automatically detect the microphone and you are good to go. It is a noticeable sound improvement in comparison .

I highly recommend this mic for anyone who is just starting to blog or even record their family outings. It's really great that I don't have to worry about any cords or batteries, just plug it in and you're all set to go!

Small and Effective Mic

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a nice little mic that gives cameras like the ZV-E10 more directional audio than the built-in mics. Attaching and removing the mic is easy and there's a soft bag with the wind muff that's also helpful in storing the mic in your bag or pocket. I used this to record some a youth soccer game and it did a pretty good job of picking up the sounds on the field instead of people talking behind the camera.

The built in microphone on the ZV-1 does a wonderful job at capturing any type of audio noise that you are going for. Plus the Sony ZV-1 has dynamic audio and a very usable windscreen. If you have a different type of camera besides the ZV-1 this might be a great buy but for me it’s just ok. I do like the seamless setup with no additional cords or cables. This would serve as a very good back up mic.

Good mic for price

I like the quality and the sound is a bit better than the one on the camera I bought it for. Definitely helps reduce static sounding audio and background noise. I recommend as a first time mic.

Great Mic Attachment

Prior when recording you could not walk very far away or the sound would decrease significantly. With this mic the sound is much louder and really clear.

I guess I got a good price, it is better than my onboard mic, it is very small and compact and the lack of wires needed to use it on a Sony camera are good pluses.

This one works with the ZV-1, I was looking for one with Omnidirectional sound since I'm normally behind the camera but this works, works best if you're in front of the camera though.
