I wasn't expecting the sound quality of an expensive pair, but these were down right bad. The audio is not consistent between the left and right earbud. The sound quality in all honesty is the equivalent to a pair that you could get at the Dollar store. Stay away from these if you are looking to use them for music. They are ok for use as a headset for a phone to talk on.

Be sure and help them find which size plug works best for their ear. Great sound in a small package.
