Good base, the button makes it easy to pause whatever I'm listening to or watching if someone starts talking to me. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the crackle when the aux moves even a little on whatever device. But it's pretty firm, so not a constant thing.

My first console was a PlayStation (original) and ever since then I have always sought out Sony products over anything else. Now, I did NOT have high expectations for these headphones, in fact I was expecting them to be a bit worse in sound quality then they actually were, that's not the reason for my 2 star review. These headphones got used a handful of times, never during any rigorous activity or in hazardous situations such as swimming or anything else that would obviously ruin the headphones, I even kept the volume moderately low because I have a bad habit of blowing out tiny earbuds like this fairly quickly. Despite all this, one fateful morning I reached for these headphones and to my dismay, they were DEAD. I've never had an issue like this before where the headphones just didn't work... So to sum it up, these deserve 2 stars for the price and for the sound quality (again, not amazing but not at all horrible) and they lose 3 stars for just giving up on me when I needed them..
