I've never used earbuds before, and don't use them a lot now. Only when i'm doing things on my laptop that require audio, and my wife is watching something on TV i'm not interested in. The earbud's felt decent in place, the color was great, were not overly expensive, and I didn't have any problem with volume. The problem came 3 months after initial use, and the L side doesn't work. In honesty, I used the wire to free it from between couch cushions, but it wasn't caught on anything, there was no jerking involved, and it wasn't a large amount of force used to free the earbud in my estimation. I guess they're a bit fragile.

This was a great purchase I look forward to purchasing more yet to come

Good enough headphones for gaming. Easy to use and carry

Audio quality is fine, mic is awesome (not question about it) but poor cable provokes an accute sound (hi-frequency like statics) everytime it touches the fabric or fingers. Othere than is fine.

Maybe I got a defective product, I don’t know, but these earphones are the worst I’ve ever used. I chose the Sony brand over others because I trusted their quality, but this time it’s very disappointing. First of all, the earphones keeps activating Siri on my iPhone for no reason- this happens 10 times as I am typing this review. Sometimes it activates Siri when I am not even touching my phone, sometimes it happens when I lightly touch the earphones wires or when I move my phone slightly. It is very annoying. I can’t listen to a whole song without being interrupted a few times. The sound quality is very bad. The cheap free earphones I received on my flight is better than this. I wish I didn’t throw away the packaging so I can return this thing. It’s a waste of money. Total garbage.

Good audio quality, mic voice heard nice but a huge static noise is listened on the other side (quality still there) that makes it kind of disappointing surprise. Not acceptable!!!

Great wired earbuds....well worth the low price. Great Value!

Did not last a year. Has been used occasionally. Overall quality was good until it started outputting very low sound for no reason!

They're about $8, so I'm not surprised that in about a month, they've broken down and only one ear works now. I just wish it was a month or two more.

Good for medium budget headphones, sound quality is good compared to other mid budget

Good sound but pain in the butt for me. I myself didn't want to get them but I wasn't able to find anything else and thought I'd try. I don't think my ears should be hurting after I stop wearing them. I'm hardly using them because of this experience.

I would not give a 1 star had there been an option for "0 stars". Not a reliable brand at all. I had a different model of Sony headphones , and it broke by the hinge. Reached out to both US and Japan headquarters about the issue. Received a reply email stating that the Sony engineers agree that there is a defect with the product, but they cannot exchange it because it was out of warranty. If a product has a defect, and company admits it, then why does not matter what the purchase date it. Anyway I highly recommend to stay away from sony headphones in general.

good price for a basic headphones for everyday use

I would give 1 start but 2 stars because the sound quality is great; but the material used is worse than any local unbranded earphones. Buy only if you want something for a few months as these are not long lasting. Both buds broke into two halves along the joint. Now I need to either glue them or throw them away. Certainly a design flaw, didn't expect this from Sony.

They were great while they lasted, but they only lasted a few months. Just used them for working on the computer.

They are ok for the price. The plastic for the ears r of mediocre quality

My old pair broke after a year so I went ahead and ordered these since I heard Sony was better. Not even a month later and the sound on these are dying out. Kinda disappointed. They started out really well but a few days ago I noticed a change in sound. Everything is upped to 100% volume but it sounds like its at 20%. Such a shame.

I wouldn't reccomend these they have alot of static and noone could hear when i used it to talk on the phone and the audio quality wasnt good while listening either

I did curbside pickup and got dirty, used earphones in a torn box (the listing on their website didn't say open box or used). I was told I can't return them without going in the store, but I'm high risk for COVID. Don't trust these people for curbside pickup.

These literally broke on the day After the store 15 day return policy expired. I just wanted a pair of basic earbuds. What I got was less than basic. I realize they cost $15, but come on, 16 days? One minute I can hear just fine out of both buds, the next nothing out of the left bud.
