The audio won't have to go through so much processing to reach you, making for a much cleaner, crisper audio in its full resolution.

I refuse to buy them expensive ones because they tear them up so easily. I try to find a middle ground and not get the no name five Dollar ones that tear up in a day. I’ve tried different brands and these Sony seem to be holding up better than some. Nothing amazing about them or the sound quality but my kids use earbuds an excessive amount of time and these are holding up a month later after purchase.
