I always try to have some competing noise around me as I have tinnitus. Tinnitus is ringing in my ears. Imagine the same sound in your ears for, it's going on 45 years plus now. 24 x7. Vincent Van Gogh cut off a portion of his ear because of the incessant ringing. Great sound and convenient.

The sound quality is top notch. The overall build quality is cheap feeling but its ok because these are used for the gym.
