If you purchase a separate lightning adapter, you can use them on both the traditional plug-in as well as the newer apple phones that only have the lightning plugs.

I wish they came with all small earbuds since my ears are too small to use the earbuds tips that some with it, but the headphones themselves are decent. I don't use it for anything special, so the sound works for me.

I'm sure one day in the future they will break, as do all cabled headphones but the quality seems very good and it should last a long while, making it a worthy buy.

The sound quality is fine for causal use and is about the same as my Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120-G that I use for music at work and jogging. But I love better the soft wire of my Panasonic. Volume control will be the next upgrade for these headphones.
