They have very high end frequency response, good low bass. They lack a little in the mid and upper high end where the more expensive Xpanxed Bass models fill in better but as for sub bass they perform he same. These are appearently the successor to the MDREX110 and sound almost identical and those were my favorite. These are my new favorite. I got them on sale for $20, but even at MSRP they have great sound quality. The cord easily tangles and is a bit thin but I have never had a problem with 110’s cord lasting and this one is the same. The driver sensitivity is slightly low so you’ll have to turn the volume up a little more than some other better quality buds but definitely not a problem. I highly recommend these. I have not reviewed them for phone call mic quality.

You can get better earbuds, but you have to pay more for that quality. Like I said I got them on sale.
