I wanted more flexibility when using my Sony A6000. Though the integrated flash onto the camera is fine for many instances, this flash is full featured for the medium to heavy user of shots requiring flash. A great flash for a novice to a heavy user. Have fun playing with the thing.
The included case protects the flash. Make sure you look carefully for all the included accessories within the case. Requires four AA batteries, advanced lithium are best.

I have paired the with my Sony A6000 and the TTL work without fail. Also easy to go into manual mode ad control the flash output. The most unique feature is the entire head swivels completely from right to left while the flash orientation remains the same.
