Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the reliability and capacity of the G-Series 64GB XQD Memory Card. Many users appreciate its performance and compatibility with devices like the Nikon D500. However, the high price point of both the card and the required adapter is a common complaint.

    Blazing fast with the D500

I recently bought a Nikon D500 and decided that since it came with a XQD card slot, I wanted to see how this new card format compared to SD cards. I have been amazed since purchasing this card. I can't begin to fill the buffer when shooting action shots (HS Baseball summer league). The camera writes to the card so fast that I capture everything. This new technology is light years ahead of the most modern SD cards. Buy one and prepare to be amazed!

I have yet to fill the card and even if I am shooting a bird in flight, (which can consume a good number of images) the write speed is great on this card... the XQD format is quicker than previous formats and the buffer for the camera is equally quick - saying that the memory card is fast is not a 100% true statement by itself. it is a great format though. your camera body needs to support this format.

My nikon Z6 only take XQD memory card. this production is right for Nikon Z camera shoots in the 9 to 12 or more frames a second, or takes 4K video. It reads and writes phenomenally quickly. For shooting in RAW, you need a fast and reliable XQD card and this one certainly meets those requirements.

    Working Well So Far

I've been using this card for about three months as the primary memory card in my D850 and it has been working well. Continuous shutter speeds work smoothly as the card seems to handle the fast write speeds with ease. I'm unable to say how well the card will hold up with future use, but thus far, it has performed very well.

I never felt like I had to wait for images to buffer to the card. It was plenty fast for my uses, but I don't do much as far as burst shooting, so I cant speak to that. Keep in mind that you will need a matching card reader if you are new to XQD cards. Your current CF card reader will not work.

My new camera required this card. So far this has been a good memory card although a bit on the expensive side. It does have some incredible read/write speeds for shooting and downloading though. I’ll probably get a 2nd one soon since I alway carry 2 of the same size card.

The card works great and I am not too concerned with the card failing. Over the past 10 years I have shot on all sorts of cards and not once have I ever had a card fail. So if you must have redundancy it must be for piece of mind, in my experience. My practice is to download my card to my computer ASAP (don't leave it on the card for a long period of time), and reformat the card from the camera. I don't clear the card from the pc, which has worked out great for me over the years and it is an easy rule to follow and is what Nikon recommends. Since it is new media/tech I had decided to go with a brand name I trusted.

The card fast, and the recovery software works. After accidentally formatting the card with a full photo shoot I downloaded the software and I was able to recover everything! Get a card reader for best speed.

I use these cards in my D500 and D850 Nikon cameras. Since I shoot in fine jpeg+ full size raw, the card speed is crucial, especially when shooting high speed continuous for fast moving subjects. I get great results with this card.

New type of memory card for high resolution digital cameras. Has a faster speed than Compact Flash cards. It's working well in my Nikon D850. Needs a new type card reader. Sony has two versions of the card reader.

I purchased when upgrading to a D850. Used a Compact Flash before. Am amazed at how fast the images get written to the card. I don't even see that little light showing the camera is writing to the card, it writes so fast. Cool!

You sell cameras that require XQD cards. They require readers. There are several sizes of XQD cards. You have zero cards or readers available in your store in Lafayette, Louisiana. Online you do not have the larger card which is more cost effective for storage. I had to buy the more expensive card online and was not able to get a reader. I used a gift card to pay for my XQD card. Otherwise I would have bought it elsewhere because it was cheaper. I was told you do not match prices on items online because they are not considered as “in stock”
