The headset sounds good. The battery last a long time. I think it should have more bass though. The main problem is it uses a usb drive and a Best Buy employee told me the Ps4 has a usb on the back and it doesnt so I have to unplug my charger in order to use it. Other than that the headset works fine.

great wireless headset. comfortable and doesnt hurt my ears at all. they are wireless and its a continuous and great sound. when the battery does run out they charge within 1.5 hours but i can use an aux cable if i dont want to charge them.

Very light weight with excellent sound. Easy to use and also has good battery life. The light weight makes them comfortable and wearable for hours. Charging cable is short and they are not noise cancelling. Best PS4 headset for the price.

Purchased the ps4 gold headset because my old headset cord came apart. The ps4 headset can be wireless or plug in and has great sound quality . Battery charge last longer than my controllers . Great product

The sound quality is Fantastic. The option of two sound settings is an added bonus. They are adjustable and comfortable. The battery life is also very nice as it doesn't need to be charged as often after reaching full charge.

I had a real issue with the stock headset they give you with the Playstation 4. The sound was not clear nor the voice from being in parties. I had the volume turned up on both the system (hold the PS button down) and the mic itself and it just would not become loud and clear. I decided to try the Official playstation headset instead of the other brands such as turtle beach or other brands and I didn't want all the cords hanging around and I am so glad I made the purchase. Not only did the sound and clarity blow me away but the comfort of having the headset on for over 6 hours straight playing Destiny with friends that I actually forgot they were on my head some of the time. I highly recommend this to anyone that doesn't mind breaking away from the razors and turtle beaches out there.

Hesitant but they sound great for call of duty.. Music not so much ... Mic works perfect ...Bass could b better .. Wish ps4 go back to Bluetooth but this works good for the time being .. Last long and sound is 8-10

Coming from Turtle beaches, astros a40 , These are by far my favorite. Simple , less cords and perfect weight. Great battery life and great wireless transition.

I've owned many gaming headsets over the years, and these are right up there with my favorites. I don't need $300 headphones to have a great sound. These were on sale for $89 and worth every penny. There is a headphone app on ps4 that let's you download pre loaded audio for individual games. So I play destiny, I go into the headset companion app and BAM! Download the best audio for that game. No wires on these headphones! That worried me at first for reception reasons but I've had perfect sound/chat since I've bought these. All my friends agreed they sounded great. Now we all have these headsets.

Pros: Very comfortable. Over ear headphones blocks out medium amount of outside noise. Soft around ears and not too tight over head. Adjustable as well. Satisfying sound. Has switch to emphasize more bass. Stylish. Does not have nerdy mic boom hanging around your head. But I this it is also a con. See con. Although I would like to use it without the dongle, it allows you to use it on a Mac or windows machine in a snap Cons: Actually only one. The mic is not the best. Perhaps because of the pro I gave it where you don't have that irritating boom around your face making you look like a call center rep. All in all, I enjoy these. Reasonable price. I don't talk much with them anyway but knocked a star off for the weak mic.

Ps4 games sound great with the faux surround feature. Light and comfortable. No sound bleeding out, but poor insulation from outside noise. Battery life is passable, charge before any worthy gaming session though. Great for the price and overall design!

These wireless headphones are great for gaming on the PS4 & PS3, from playing music to chatting online, it also comes with an audio cord to plug into other compatible devices, such as cellphones, PC's, etc...

Another Sony product that my boyfriend and I love! When he's not around i honestly use this and its comfortable even after hours of wear. Plus there are all kinds of controls you can use. Sound/chat for when you're in a chat party you can choose to lower the game volume and listen to your friends more. You can mute yourself and you have the freedom of wireless headset. You can use and charge it at the same time or it comes with a cable if it dies or to use for headphones and listen to music. It isn't as long as regular headphones so i guess from the comfort of your home it would make sense. They are pretty big so it fits over your head nicely and for the most part cancels most noises around you. Overall we love it (:

I am honestly not sure why Sony seems to be halting distribution of this, but if you can get your hands on one soon - Do It! Having been gaming in the PC and Console space for many years, I have seen peripherals of varying quality come and go. Some, like Turtle Beach headsets and audio have become staples, and a "golden standard" for some folks. My opinion is that this is one of the rare cases where, beyond original controllers, a 1st party release truly justifies its price, and competes with 3rd party peripherals. ***Pros:*** -Build quality; Not perfect, but well thought out. Controls are intuitive, and easy to learn. And the foldable headband both works, and looks tasteful. Very little sound leakage through the ear cups. -Audio; Again, not perfect out of the box, but definitely sharp, and not unnecessarily heavy in bass (unless you want it to be. There's a second position to the ON switch for bass boost mode). The PS4 app can also accommodate custom equalizers, or those created by developers for specific games. -Versatile; This works well in wireless mode (NOT BLUETOOTH - requires a USB dongle) for PS4, PS3, PC. And for anything else, you can use the included, or your own, standard audio cable. It did fine with FaceTime on an iPad too. ***Cons:*** -Build quality; Yes, I said this was a strength, but it is not perfect. I have a few more expensive headphone sets (Shure, InCase, etc) that are certainly more solid, but if I'm being nitpicky, I would have preferred a slightly more oval shape to the ear cups for a better seal. -Wireless; THIS IS NOT BLUETOOTH! And why not, I'll probably never know. It requires a silly dongle, that sticks out the front of my beautiful, glacier white PS4. That being said, the sound quality I have experienced is better than most Bluetooth, save for anything with aptX, and range has never been an issue. I can nearly walk the entire house and still maintain signal. But why no Bluetooth, so I can use this with a phone, iPod, etc.?!? -Battery life; This is NOT a huge deal! Just as another nipicking instance (I'm really reaching to find negatives here), the battery could have been a little better, but I can still easily get a few days of heavy use before having to plug in. Still can't figure out why Sony is making it so hard to find these... But I would easily recommend them over the lesser Sony Silver wired headset, and most of the recent Turtle Beach models, if you want a great fit, potentially great sound, and good versatility. Highly recommended!

Very happy with the headset, charge lasts quite a while, and if it gets low you can plug it into your controller to keep using it without having to charge it. Adjusts easily to your head size, charges quickly, surround sound is amazing, using the playstation app you can program it for the type of game you are using it for. Mute button right on the headset, as is the toggle switch to increase volume for chat or gaming to your preference. I have run into a problem occasionally with the mic not working which required a reboot of the system, but not often. Well worth the cash.

I have been wanting to upgrade from the basic ear piece that comes with the PS4 to a wireless headset. A friend of mine recommended that I try this one. I must say I am very pleased with my purchase. This has got to be the best wireless headset for under $100 on the market. I also like that there are several buttons located on the headset for quickly changing the settings. Playstation also works with developers to create custom sound settings for different games. My only complaint is that the choice of preset game settings is limited. Bottom line, if you want a wireless headset that sounds great and won't break the bank I highly recommend you get this one.

These are by no means top of the line headphones. That having been said, the audio quality is crisp & the microphone works far better than I'd expected it to. For less than $100 this over-ear headset for the PS4 is about as good as it gets. The virtual 5.1 surround sound is convincing. My only gripe would be the battery life only lasts around 4-5 hours on a single charge & if you have a large head & cartoons-like ears as I do, the noise foam pieces start to dig into your head after about an hour. A quick adjustment on the head takes care of this.

A really good purchase if you are looking for a wallet friendly gaming headset. Works perfectly. Sound quality is amazing and its really comfy.

usually i try for a 3rd party accessory but these headphones are actually super comfortable and the sound is impressive for the price. i do wish these could go louder but still love
