The digital media magnetic tape is very cost effective and has very high resolution. Videos usually are very sharp and of very high quality. It withstands absorbing moisture if kept in good condition and lasts for quite a long time with proper care.

I bought these to use with a video camera that I bought at a garage sale. They were pricey, but options were limited and according to a salesperson they are not being made anymore since everything is pretty much digital nowadays. They work pretty much like one would expect. I shot some short videos and everything looked and sounded fine. This was with a Sony brand camera by the way, although I am sure they work with other brands as long as the format is correct.

Found my old camera while rummaging through my closet. Realized that I can probably use it to record and critique my performance on the tennis courts. Was really glad to see that there was still a section for Hi-8 tapes. Used it the following weekend and was able to get some great shots on my back hand and serve. Will probably buy a few more as they are cheaper than on Amazon.

No one else carries these tapes anymore. So glad you have them. Not going to buy a new video camera when I have one that works and now I have more tapes. Thank you.

I still have my Sony TRV-740 that I use to record video and these seem to be the only Hi-8 tapes they still carry in stores. I have always bought Sony Hi-8 tapes and had great video quality results.

We were on our way to our 5yr old's Xmas pagent & noticed we left the film at home. Luckily best buy had it and we were able to have this memory forever!

You can use a phone or tablet to make a video, but there isn't one as good as digital video tape. The lenses on dedicated video cameras are huge and the quality is so must better. Buy the digital video tape and have unlimited storage for those special moments.

This is a good quality tape for video recording. Reliable recording.

Sony tape is a reliable recording tape for HI 8 camera.

Work well in camcorder and good value for the price.

8MM tapes are great, packing from sony is always great

8mm video tapes are difficult to find and was pleased to find them at Best Buy!

My old Sony Hi8 camera still works and they still make the tapes.

These tapes have excellent picture quality; although a bit pricey.
