Outstanding Tape
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This tape has a very durable design, easy to use, highly compatible and produces great video. This is the only tape I will use with my canon XH A1s. I never experienced drop frames. The picture quality is just as clean as blue ray. I compared a blue ray movie to the footage I recorded and the footage on the tape was just as clean as the blue ray movie.

Ive been using these tapes for a couple of years now and its pretty much the only reliable way to record in in minidv HD. Ive tried using regular miniDV tapes but the image drops in and out, its really annoying. best buy is the only major retailer tha still carries them in my area.

Great Quality MiniDV Digital Video Cassette Tape

Please read!! -Alright but not good

I have a Canon XL1s and I used Sony Premium tapes, I tried these HD tapes and they were basically the same quality. It's grainy, not 1080 like it says, and it's no different than the Premium tapes except the $9 difference per tape. It's not worth your money if you have a Canon XL1s. Please save your money. I've used a Panasonic tape (80 sp 120 lp) and this has been, so far out of these listed, the best quality.
