Great sound, loud bass, like rechargeable battery.

I do not regret buying this speaker. The sound is awesome. The bass is fantastic even without the "extra bass." I listen to all sorts of music, rock, country, pop, classical. The speaker plays them all with spectacular sound and clarity. Two thumbs up!

I love this speaker. Using the pa system in it is great especially being fully battery operated. Great sound and good level of music. I like that you can control the speaker with the app from your Bluetooth devise. I do wish the app would control the microphone volume though.

Great Sound, and connects to Alexa. Very nice. Love the lights, although a little difficult to manage the lights, at first, when you wanted them off, but if you READ THE DIRECTIONS, they works great. Plan on getting a second one.

This is my first sound l owe and l am very happy l like to listen music from my iPhone and sometime l can take this for the park and listen my favorite songs with my family my kids love to listen music too so all family enjoy thanks Best Buy for your employers they are very kind.

I've had to many bluetooth speakers to mention but when I got this one, im good. Not looking anymore now when I Rock and roll, the next three neighbors do to. The only down side I've found is your ears bleed a little when you play Slipknot, but besides that their great!

I love the sound is like any other speaker, the base it sounds amazing the voice of the music is so clear and loud. I recommend this speaker to anyone that wants one to entertain is the best thing I have bought. Expensive yes but well worth it.

This is really nice, with great sound and the battery storage is superb. Taking the speaker with me outside to the yard without the need to plug in makes this purchase even better.

The Sony High Power Home Audio System GTK-XB90 is a seriously heavy speaker (30 lbs) and rather large (measuring 26x13x13). Getting it out of the box was a challenge. Amazingly, there were directions on the box flap to help me overcome the situation. I guess it was a common problem that warranted a solution. There are instructions for carrying it safely. It makes me wonder how many workers at the Sony plant had to undergo hernia surgery after trying to remove the system from the conveyer belt. Though I am half joking here, I would caution parents against letting their children attempt to pick it up or move it across the room. The system is an attractive dark gray/black color. The top, bottom and back are smooth surfaces while either side is textured. The front design reminds me of a cross between a modern jukebox and boombox. The system can stand vertically (easier to manipulate the controls) or on its side, horizontally. There are four rubber feet on both the bottom and side to prevent it from scratching the surface upon which it is placed. As soon as I connected the cord, the lights started flashing. (If you wish to turn off the lights demonstration, just hold down the W. Party Chain button for 3+ seconds.) Once I turned on the system, the Bluetooth function immediately went into effect. While there is a USB connection for compatible USB devices, it was advised to connect Apple devices via Bluetooth as the USB connection is not supported. The system does not provide a USB cord, so you will need to use the one that come with your device. There are notes about connecting a device via a USB and the delay that might occur, etc. I encourage you to read about that in the manual so there are no surprises. I only used the Bluetooth connection. Once connected, I was automatically prompted to download the Sony Music Center app and the Fiestable utilities app. I am picky about which apps I load on my players, so I looked up a review of the app to see if I wanted to give up the space. I ended up deciding against downloading either. Just a note, you can only pair up to 8 Bluetooth devices with the system. There is NFC connection for one touch Bluetooth connection with compatible smartphones, etc. There are several features that I really liked: Battery related: 1. The system turns off automatically after 15 minutes when not being used. You can tell if it is off if you don’t see a green light on the power button. 2. The system can be used with the built-in, rechargeable battery or connected to the AC power card. That means the party can go anywhere. 3. You can check the battery level by pressing the Stamina button. The voice guidance message will tell you what percentage is left and the indicator will flash 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x based on the remaining charge. 4. You can reduce power consumption by pressing the Stamina button on the top, so if there is no power outlet nearby, the party doesn’t have to end so quickly. 5. You can use the system as a battery charger for your music device. 6. The battery can potentially last 16 hours with no lights and moderate volume (3 ½ hours on max volume, 5 hours on max volume in stamina mode). Buttons: 7. The volume buttons (+ / -) are nice and large. 8. There is an Extra Bass button for more dynamic sound!! 9. You can connect to another audio system with the Party Chain function wired or wirelessly. Note – you will need your own audio cords if systems don’t have the wireless function. The reason I got this system is that I wanted a portable speaker that I could hook up to my receiver and wireless mic for when I taught fitness classes at my gym. The Sony system has a mic jack and mic level knob. I was able to successfully set up my devices with the system. The battery related features I mentioned above are a big bonus for me. I love the added lighting effects for the room to motivate the riders in my spin classes! Not needing a power outlet makes it possible to use for outdoor classes or for placement in the front of the room when there is no power outlet nearby. Though this system can be used outside by the pool or on a deck on a nice day, this is really meant for indoor use. It is not waterproof. I wouldn't recommend bringing it to the beach for fear that sand would get inside the front panel. I really like this system. The sound was tremendous - clear and crisp. There are 3 tweeters and 2 woofers. I was really able to crank the volume. I didn't notice too much of a difference with the Extra Bass, but it was probably the songs I was playing at the time. The only downside for me is the sheet weight making it less easy to transport (getting into and out of the car without damaging the car or the system). For that, I would only have dinged the score by a half star, but 4 ½ stars is not an option.

Best big Bluetooth speaker ever. Clear, quality and loud. I bring this beautiful speaker out for my daughter’s birthday parties, and everyone compliments it. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Battery life is good, Bluetooth connection is good, lights are cool, sounds is good. At the price point and size of this speaker though I would expect these aspects to be great not just good.

This speaker sounds as good as if not somewhat better than the big stereo speakers we used to use. This speaker has great sound and acoustics. Really enjoy it. Easy to take places where the old ones we had you could not do that.

The loudest speaker I have ever bought. The best for having a party in doors and also out doors . Hold it’s charge for a weekend and that’s all I need to have fun.

Battery powered , loud , lights , perfect party speaker . Checked it in as luggage and took it with me overseas . If plugged in volume seems louder but that’s just an added plus . Love it , keeps party going

The young man who waited on me was very helpful. This was a Christmas present for my 21 year old son and it was exactly what he wanted. It sounds great and the extra bass is very cool.

This was definitely a great buy! I have used both outdoors and indoors. I like how I can make changes and add effects via mobile device. The sound is really good.

The speaker really stands out and makes a blast. Only remember charging it once and it played throughout the whole night. Gets loud and i recommend for a party like I used it

This speaker is great. Purchased for an out door business event last fall and it was awesome. Blue tooth, mic jack and many more features. Sound is great in and out side.

Tried using this as a karaoke speaker at my house using a 16 channel mixer plugged into the mic input. Worked fine. Got very loud, ok bass (do not expect to hear the extra low freq though, like the super low bass drops you hear in a lot of current pop or dance music) decent thump & definitely enhances standard bass tones. Our biggest complaint is it sounded very monaural. I know it is a mono speaker but I hoped/expected a clearer sound. I’m very picky about sound so for the average person, this is a great speaker. Great for a big party to blast some music at high or low volumes. It just wasn’t for me & I will be exchanging it for another.
