But the flash is lillye slow i think sony might improve it

I’ve been using the HVL-F46RM for both studio and outdoor shoots, and it consistently delivers great results. The wireless radio feature works seamlessly with my Sony camera system, making off-camera lighting setups super convenient. The flash recycles quickly and provides consistent light output. It’s compact, easy to carry, and the build quality feels very solid. Perfect for portraits, weddings, and event photography. A great addition to any Sony shooter’s kit!

Compared to the Godox 860iii, the 46 is smaller and feels lighter. It moves the same, although notchier and harder to turn horizontally at first. I can also stand the camera on the lense hood w/ 35mm 1.4gm. I couldn’t do that with the Godox without it falling over. The hot shoe connector slides in like butter. The locking mechanism has a cover to protect the connection. The build definitely feels better. I’m happy with the performance. I don’t think it’s as bright but very close.

Great flash for Alpha Cameras. really well integrated with the camera. i use this for indoor portrait photos as well as a great outdoor fill light. Highly recommend for Sony A7R5 camera

Amazing camera flash. Still working out the kinks, but I love the pictures taken while using it. So much less ISO or shutter speed manipulating.

The HVL-F46RM is a handy, small, lightweight flash for the APS-C series Sony cameras. It's fine for direct flash and all the camera controlled modes function as expected. It recycles fast, ad provides plenty of flashes on a set of batteries.

Works perfectly with a6700, is plenty powerful and I appreciate its ability to rotate almost 360 degrees over the more compact but slightly limiting hvl28rm

Excellent Flash with a great range. Great for taking group pictures

This light is a game changer for night photography, for basic flash its easily plug and play and as its a sony light it links up and allows seamless TTL flash. Buratiful pics with nice navigation through the various options.
