As much as I agree it should have came with the console, I’m glad it’s an option at all. Having the option to buy used physical games expands your library so much.

I had no idea that you could upgrade the disc list version of the ps5s especially the pro with this upgrade but once I did I was able to purchase battlefield 6. On disc so I can play it on my PS5 Pro without having to worry about only digital and now I can also use my disc version of Gran Turismo 7. Plus what's the point of having a Blu-ray enabled game system if you can't play your Blu-ray movies if you still have those on it? Overall I would say this was a great upgrade. The price could be a little bit lower but being PlayStation just like any other major company their prices never seem to be that affordable LOL

At first i was skeptical about this working and being able to read disk but i have not had any problems with it so far. Its is also not as bulky as i thought it was going to be.

Works as advertised. Dont know why the bad reviews. I also purchased open box for great price and works perfect. A bit pricey consodering the ps5 pro is 699 but hey thats supply and demand for you. Overall does whats its suppose to do. 5 stars.
