Nice that it is optional, but I recommend it if you still have ps4 or 5 discs.

Easy install. Dont like had to buy separate but i like owning my games

It's ALWAYS good to have a backup. This works well, is easy to install and operates as expected. Highly suggested for a PS5 Pro so you can have a complete system. Does feel a little overpriced for what it is but better this than having a unit that dies because someone shoves coins in the disc slot.

I love it , kinda worries me that we had to outchase this separate but for the price its worth it

Works and fits perfectly on my PS5 Pro. It comes with two bigger “legs” to connect to the Pro so that it doesn’t wabble when it is set down horizontally.

Just follow included detailed step by step illustrations to remove original cover, insert drive, install new included cover. It is easy to configure it once power up PS5/PS5 Pro. The physical eject button is helpful. Not a touch sensitive switch like original PS3.

It's annoying that the PS5 Pro doesn't include the disc drive as a standard option, but it's a must have for people that like to actually own their game with their physical copies.
