I like that I can play anywhere, but the wifi connectivity is hit or miss. Sometimes it plays super smooth, but thats with all other wifi connected devices off.

I love the concept and the screen is really nice. I also love the controllers but the WI-FI 5 on the device is awful. I have WI-FI 7 in my home and the gameplay was not good. For this reason, im returing it sadly. Hopefully they will update it and ill buy it again.

Played Destiny 2 strike without any issues is what sold me on thr portal. A grest product if you want to chill anywhere in your home and play your PS5 games. I

The portal is exactly what was described. A streaming device that works off the PS5, however I was able to stream to my Steam deck with that same level of lag on my portal. It is completely unplayable without the ps5 wired to the router, which was a disappointment since my PS5 was upstairs. The controller is as amazing as a typical Dualsense 5 controller. Overall, this device is not a must have, but not entirely bad either.

Works great! Love playing ps5 on the go. The PS portal originally sounded like a dumb purchase but I find myself reaching for it more often than the regular dualsense & tv play.

No damage to the box and was ready to pick up in a timely matter. Best Buy answered all my questions when I had concerns with my product delivery date.

While a very nice looking device, it failed to deliver what it was designed for: remote play to my PS5.
The good;
It’s a beautiful device. The OLED makes the interface really pop, and was a delight to configure and setup. The latter being very smooth and simple.
The bad:
Horrible refresh rate for game play, which results in terrible motion blur. I’m not a professional gamer and I don’t need a 120 panel, so I figured this would be good enough for me. I’ve played with a 60Hz panel (with low response times) connected to my PS for years and have been fine with it. The refresh on the portal is so bad that FPS games are unplayable, which is unfortunate since it affects all of the titles I enjoy playing.
This is not a result of network lag. This issue occurred even when paying on my home WIFI network (I’m a EE with a very well tuned network at home).
The lesser gripe are the analog sticks. They feel more like joy cons than playing with a DS5.
If motion blur doesn’t bother you, or you play games that are more static and do not require much of a refresh rate/response time: This may be a good fit. For now, I’m sticking with remote play on my phone and will wait for another solution.

This is definitely a nice gadget to have. As long as you have decent wifi you can take it and play anywhere with minimal latency. Especially for being only $200 value, it's worth it!
