amazing device! as a father of three kids I can now play playstation in the backyard and keep an eye on the kids! Great investment for parents!

I really like this portable device. I only wish it has a browser to connect to a hotel WiFi so that I don’t have to use a travel router.

I brought it to have with my PlayStation 5 and my step daughter uses it all the time she loves it Just sometimes losses connection

After purchasing the back bone first. To much to set up every time and to much lag!.. the portal solved both. Used it over 100 miles from my house and worked great!! Well worth it!

Only really works decently with non-multiplayer games (I mostly played NBA 2K while traveling), even then it is pretty choppy. Works fine if you’re in a bind and can’t bring your PS5 with you but the games you can actually play are pretty limited. After about 6 months it’s a paper weight.

This thing is incredible. I was curious how it would hold up with using it on a hotshot but it picked it up quick and with great video quality.

The idea is great but the execution is not. It kept having to reconnect back the WiFi even being right next to the WiFi box. Tried to use it while out to make sure it wasn’t my internet and it did the same. You cannot play a full round of a game because the connection kept cutting in and out continuously. Would not recommend.

Well, I will be returning item because it does not work on Wi-Fi that I do not already have at home. So the point of getting this device is so that I can travel with it and since I cannot use it on my hotspot or on other Wi-Fi, it makes this item pointless.

If you ha e the rigjt set up then it is great. You will see people compare it to the backbone. But really isnt a comaprison for 100 more the portal is superior for sure.

The actual gaming functionality works well. Even with competitive online FPS games, it’s not as bad as you’d expect. Where the portal fails is everywhere else, without a brand new sony elite headset with PSlink, you can’t use a headset natively. It doesn’t come with any protective case. It doesn’t come with a USB-C cable or charger. Lastly, depending on where you’re playing and how you’re positioned, it gets tiresome to hold after a while.

I got this so the tv wasn’t always being tied up in gaming sessions. It works great on house WiFi and when connected to my phones hotpot on the road.

Cool device works really well but you do need a good strong internet connection for it to really function properly if your phone can do a good mobile hotspot at 5 Hertz then you should be fine

This is next level. The screen soze and resolution is awesome. Await next gen that will allow mobile play. Its like a psp on steroid. Highly recommend for all PS lovers.

I had been using my phone for remote play with a backbone controller, but there was always lag. Picture is great and no lag at all. I might finally get caught up on my games, now.

A lot are saying this is useless but with two kids I can game while they take over the TV. Or I can use it in bed. Havent tried using it away from home but will give it a try soon.

Great to have on the go, and at home. People recommend the backbone but this is leagues better!

Great video gaming system. Best Buy delivered it quick as well.

For the price and the new update from Sony, makes this a no brainer.
