very good sound and great connectivity to google. I knew I couldn't lose in buying sony speakers wished they would add alexa too

It’s a great unit but very confusing to connect to a non google phone.

Got this speaker on sale for $40 but at the end I ended returning it. The clock is too bright which it has to so the light can get through the speaker fabric. Didnt like that it lit up almost any whole room at night. If you try to dim it when you turn on the rooms light you cant see the clock.

This speaker is very cool. I love the design and quality of it. It's got a fair bit of heft to it so you know it's definitely not cheaply made. The speaker itself is of pretty good quality. There's not a lot in the way of bass, but this isn't really meant for that. It doesn't diminish the quality though, it's quite loud and very clear, especially when using Google Assistant. Responses are very fast as well. I tested it with my Honeywell Wi-i thermostat and it works brilliantly and was almost immediately. As soon as I said the temp it was immediately reflected on the Thermostat. They design is very minimalist but very nice. There's a sensor on the top to recognize Gestures and it's very fast to react to these. A simple swipe from back to front will initiate the "Hey/OK Google" response. Also swiping from side to side will skip songs. Sadly I don't have a smart TV capable of working with Google Home just yet, or even lighting, but I definitely would like to get some Hue Lighting to pair with it. It might seem like a niche product for some but it can certainly make some things easier in your day to day. I did test some music playback with it through my Spotify Account, and while it does lack the tonal depth of low frequencies, it's still able to deliver a lot of sound, especially due to the fact the speaker is 360 degrees to provide even sound regardless of where you are in relation too it. It's plenty loud even at it's basic level. I've had no need to increase it since my home is relatively quiet. Overall, if you want a bit nicer model of one, granted the Google versions are very nice with the different bases and colors, the White and Chrome on this looks incredibly sharp. Also on the front of the device it shows the time in a stacked digital fashion and it's perfectly bright enough to see from across the room, or even as far as 20 or so feet away.

The unit operated very well from a Google Assistant standpoint - no issues there. My great issue was of Sound quality. Being a Sony product I had great expectation. I don't think it is as good as the Google Mini. Little bass and tinny high end. I returned it after 1 day. Price was awesome. The performance was awful...

Leave it to Sony to make a wonderful sounding Google connected Bluetooth speaker with a clock on the front!

This is an ok speaker. It connected to Google home effortlessly. It’s sounds just ok. And it does not display temp. Honestly, the Best Buy Insignia brand smart speaker sounds far superior, and at a better price.

The speaker is just what I was looking for, and really good price. Does more than expected.

Good quality and easy to carry. Would definitely recommand this to anyone.

Good overall, needs to be improved to become excellent.

Only downside is it doesn’t make calls yet. This may change with some software updates in the future.
