Great fit and great audio!

I tried so many ear buds but then eventually was very much satisfied with these LinkBuds S. The best thing about this earbuds is that once you put it in and twist a little bit, it hold into the ear opening just perfect for it to do its job. And as far as audio quality goes, Sony has never put me down! Strongly recommend for those who love good audio and a proper fit.

I bought these headphones for work since the box stated that it was a great for jobs that are "Work-From-Home". When I bought them I would use them for work all day. After the second week of having uaing them I noticed my ears were bleeding throughout the day. I switched back to my Sony WH-XB900N and my ears stopped bleeding. I dont listen to loud music and I am using the phone frequently so i'm not sure why they were bleeding with these headphones. Maybe they were giving out a frequency that put strained my ears. Either way, They connected easily to my devices but they don't have wireless charging. I have them as a backup pair now in case I forget to charge my primary pair of headphones.

The app is key to controlling these buds, getting the sound right and using all the features. Sony packed too much in to just plug an play, so take a few minutes to set them up. There are always better and newer and more expensive whatevers out there, but for my use, I am very happy.

powerful, but longevity concerns

Batter life was good enough to get me through half of a day at first. after 3 or so years, they have become quite finicky, straight up shutting off randomly or getting an early low battery warning, even though the app says 50+% remaining.

It's unfortunate that the earbuds are no longer working properly. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app). It is also recommended to charge both earbuds sufficiently. Resetting and initializing the headset may also help resolve the issue. Please refer to the steps on these links:

Can't use for sleep due to LOUD ALERT

The Sony WF-1000XM4 were way too big for my ears, and these are small enough that they work. I need to wear earbuds for sleeping due to loud neighbors. Sigh. A huge downside of these is that there is a loud "Low Battery" alert that goes off when the battery is almost empty. I went into the app, and turned off alerts and warnings. However, it says that some will continue to be sent regardless, and I guess this is one of them. It's awful to be woken up in the middle of the night by this. It almost defeats the purpose of using these to get a restful night's sleep, and I am considering returning them for that purpose. SONY - PLEASE MAKE IT CONFIGURABLE TO TURN OFF LOW BATTERY ALERT.

Issues with connection stability with LDAC , which should be ironed out, since these are advertised as hi-fi earbuds. Touch controls need to be customizable. What Sony calls customizable, is anything but.

When you play audio with LDAC, data transmission volume increases. Your input with the customizable touch controls is truly appreciated. You can actually change the function assignments to the touch sensors of the left and right units using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. For example, the music playback function that is assigned to the touch sensor of the right unit in the factory settings can be changed to the touch sensor of the left unit. Without drawing this out too long, here is my conclusion: Best sound quality was Apple. Could also connect to anything. However apple’s ear tips have a fit that takes some getting used to. If you want an earbud with a traditional in ear tip, great sound, good bass, and don’t plan on using them with your TV, these are the best. Only complaint I have is that the ambient sound function cannot be turned off for calls, so you just have to hear background sounds during your call. That seems like a big oversight in design.
